I don't think that they'll understand

Chapter two: Can You Hear Me Now?

I opened my eyes, only to get a face full of grey eyes and fur. I was startled for a second, then I realized it was my kitten, Emrys. he's black and white.

I pet him lightly, then pick him up gently and leave my room to find the guys.

*20 minutes later*

I always forget that those dummies go into the TV room every single morning. I say good morning and Jesse says:

"We're still meeting Pierce the Veil today Kel's."

"WHAT? SO SOON?! *sigh* when are we meeting them?"
I look to Gabe and Justin.

"pretty soon, they're going to come here."

I all but hand Emrys to Gabe, then I turn on my heel and go back to my room to get clothes on.

I put on a binder, a grey V-neck shirt, and a pair of dark skinny jeans.
I add a small chain to the belt loop.

I walk back downstairs and move towards the piano, with a tune in my head.

I only begin to play when the door bell rings.

"I GOT IT!"

I go to silence that damned bell, and nearly have a panic attack at what I see.

"S-so tall! Gabe, Justin, Jesse!!"

they run towards the door, but stopped in their tracks at what the saw: tiny 5'3 me, with giants behind me.

I bet my sea-blue eyes were huge at that moment.

"Um.. hello... i'm Kellin. these jerks over here are Justin, Gabe, and Jesse. would you like to come in?"

they do and I see that there are three tall boys and one that's not that much taller then me.

once they sit down, the shortest of the four says:

"i'm Vic. these are my band mates, Jaime, Tony, and my brother Mike."

I look at each one as he names them.
