"Ayumu. I need you to go and grab the laundry hanging outside on the lines. Can you do that without getting lost?"
You asked your brother while you washed the used dishes I the sink calmly.

"Yes ma'am!"
He shouted as you then heard him run down the hall, probably to his room to grab a change of clothes, getting ready for the day.

"Also check if Mom's awake and if she's eaten yet-!"
You shouted to him while he ran down the hall. It was quite painful to shout. It was stupid to do so. You felt the horrible sting of pain in your lungs that then formed in your throat.

You paused doing the dishes for a moment to get over the pain. Before hearing the almost familiar tap on the window.
The same old looking crow was infront of your window once more. You forgot to close the window.... didn't you...

It flocked in quickly and yelled at you in a rush.

"Caw-ch! Letter for Kocho Shinobu! Caw-!!"
It swarmed your head before dropping another letter and flying off, going back out your window. Almost hitting the window frame...

*"Seriously...again? Who is even sending this Crow..."*
You thought to yourself as you looked to the letter that you failed to catch. It knows on the floor.

You cleaned the water off your hands from the sink and quietly crouched and picked up the letter. This time, instead of the paper rolled up. It was actually in an envelope.

Opening it after a few moments of thought you read the paper quickly. It was a whole paragraph on someone's health condition. They sustained minor but many injuries?

To: Kocho Shinobu.

But no return to sender.

You sighed and placed both the letters into the same envelope and placed them atop of one of the upper cabinets. Then shuffling through papers to find a blank one and grabbing a pen.

Hello, I've gotten two letters from what I assume is your Kasugai crow. I wanted to inform you that your crow is sending letters to the wrong estate.

Was all you wrote before you decided to write a little more...

It's nice to see another Kasugai crow, or just knowing the Demon Slayer Corp is still around.

You scribbled out that last part. The person you were writing to didn't need to know that.
A sigh escaped your lips before you walked over to the window and and placed it on the windowsill inside after rolling it up. Planning on waiting for the crow to come back and give the letter to it.

You walked back over to the sink. To return to doing the dishes. Probably during you writing, you didn't notice Ayumu going outside fro the back door.

He pushed through a basket of clean laundry through the back door and smiled proudly.
"I did it!"

You smiled at him with a approving smile and a thumbs up.
"Good job, you checked on Mom before you did laundry. Right?"

"Yes ma'am! I did! She was sleepy but awake. She told me she'd eat and go back to rest."
Ayumu proudly declared.

"Good. I'm proud of you."
You said as you continued dishes.
"Bring the laundry to my room and I can finish it later. Thank you, Ayumu."
You stated as you heard the shuffling of him going down the hall and the slide of your bedroom door. Turning you back to him as you we're going to continue dishes.
