The day before the wedding, I needed a bit of relaxation amidst the flurry of last-minute preparations. So, I decided to indulge in a little self-care, slathering on a face mask and retreating to the backyard for some fresh air.

As I sat there, my face covered in green goop, I couldn't help but feel a sense of peace wash over me. And then, almost instinctively, I began to sway to the music playing softly in the background, lost in the rhythm of the moment.

Unbeknownst to me, Shubman had wandered into the backyard, a mischievous glint in his eye as he leaned against the doorframe, silently observing my impromptu dance session.

I twirled and spun, lost in my own little world, until suddenly, I felt a wet nose nudge against my hand. Startled, I looked down to see Jihan, my ever-loyal companion, wagging his tail in excitement.

And then, to my surprise, I heard Shubman's voice behind me, dripping with sarcasm. "Well, well, well, look what we have here. The graceful dancer herself, putting on quite the show for her furry audience."

I turned around, face still adorned with my face mask, to find Shubman leaning casually against the doorframe, a smirk playing at the corners of his lips.

I couldn't help but roll my eyes, though a small smile tugged at the corners of my lips. "Oh, spare me the sarcasm, Shubman. Can't a girl have a little fun without an audience?"

He chuckled, shaking his head in amusement. "Of course, of course. I wouldn't dream of interrupting your private performance," he replied, his tone dripping with mock sincerity.

I shook my head, unable to suppress a laugh at his antics. "You're impossible, you know that?" I said, shaking my head in mock exasperation.

But deep down, I couldn't deny the warmth that spread through me at the sight of him watching me with admiration. Despite his sarcastic exterior, there was something undeniably genuine about how he looked at me as if seeing me in a new light.

As Jihan bounded over to him, tail wagging furiously, I couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for this unexpected moment of connection. Who knew that a face mask and an impromptu dance session would lead to such a revelation?

With a playful wink, Shubman ruffled Jihan's fur before turning to leave, his smirk never leaving his face. "Until next time, Ms. Prima Ballerina," he said, his tone laced with amusement.

And as I watched him disappear back into the house, I couldn't help but wonder what other surprises awaited us in the days to come. But one thing was for certain - with Shubman by my side, life would never be boring.
