MELANIES POV
Me and my friends stare at Tom as he slammed Mike into a wall. I wonder what was going on?
I see their lips move then Tom swings at Mike. A crowd begins to form. We rush over to see what was going on. I was right in the front.
"Move out my way!" I hear this disgusting voice yell while shoving everyone out the way. Ew it's Julie. I roll my eyes as she shoves me out the way.
"Oh my God! Tom, what are you doing!!" She yells sounding mad. I widened my eyes as Tom kept punching Mike over and over again. What had made him so mad?
I got scared in case Tom would get hurt. "You're making a fool of yourself! Of me!" Julie yells with her irritating voice. "Tom stop!" She demands.
He doesn't stop.
When she realised he wasn't going to obey her she dragged him off Mike. Tom shoves her hands off him and walks away breathing heavily.
I thinking of following him but I know Melisa and Alison would not like that but they don't have to know.
I could sneak away but they'd probably go looking for me so I'll just tell them that I'm going to the toilet.
"I wonder what that was all about" Melisa says. "Same" Alison agrees. "Erm I'm just going to go to the bathroom real quick" I say smiling at them.
"Okay see you" they say smiling back at me.
I walk away in the direction which Tom went in. It lead me into this empty classroom. Tom always goes to this classroom.
He was by the window smoking. I frown. How many times does this boy have to be reminded that smoking is bad for you?
You'd think he'd get it by now.
He looks back at me when he realises that someone else is in the room. He gives me a slight smile and turns back around.
I slowly walk up to him. I stand right next to him. I look around awkwardly at first. Tom puffs out some smoke. Before he puts the cigarette back into his mouth I take it from him slowly.
"You know smoking kills?" I say looking him dead in the eye. "Oh really?" He says smirking at me. I just smile at him as I throw it out the window.
It goes quiet again. I try to look everywhere but Tom but I could feel him looking at me. I look to the side a little he was messing around with his lip piercing his tongue.
He stops. "Are you.. okay?" He asks. "Yeah.. shouldn't I be asking u that?" I say smiling. Tom laughs a little. Tom stops and thinks. "You know where I can find Leo?" He asks.
That name just doesn't sit right with me anymore.
"No.. why?" I ask confused. He takes a moment to reply. "No reason.." he says.
The bell rings.
"We should get to class" I say. "I'll pass" he says. "You're not coming?" I ask a bit disappointed. "Got something to do" he says. "Oh" I say with my head down. "See you later?" He says making me raise my head.
I smile and nod my head.
I walk out of the class room and head to my class.
I sit next to Melisa ad per usual. "Me and Alison went to the toilets to go and find you and you weren't there?" Melisa says with suspicion, raising an eyebrow at me.
"Maybe I left by then" I shrug. "Mm sure" she says with a cheeky grin on her face. "What are you trying to say?" I ask.
"Oh nothing" she says with the same grin on the her face. I squint my eyes at her. "Do you still like Tom?" She asks me out of the blue. I look at her and pause.
"What?" Is all I mange to say. "Do. You. Still. Like. Tom?" She says slower. "No! Of course not" I reply fast. "Why you replying to fast?" She asks. "I didn't" I reply fast again.
"Can't believe you still like him" she says rolling her eyes. "I don't!" I say offended.
The thing is she's right.
Ugh. I hate myself. Why do I have to still like him. Can someone just cast a spell on me to make me not lie him. Thanks that would be lovely.

Class was over and everyone was whispering about something new.
A new story already?
That's amazing! For me at least not for the people who are the new news.
I see Tom and Leo walk out of the principals office. Leo was all bloodied up and Tom only had a black eye and bloody hands.
Is this why he wanted to find Leo?
Tom just stared at me. I look around to am sure Melisa and Alison are not here to witness what I'm about to do.
I run over to Tom. He stops and looks down at me. "What happened?" I asked concerned. "Got suspended for two weeks" Tom says. "What? Why?" I ask.
I looks at me like I'm dumb. "Don't worry about it" he says smiling at me. "Are you going home?" I ask. He nods "yep"
I look down at his bloody, bruised, cut up hands. "Well I have to go" he says. "Bye" he leaves. "Bye" I say.

School had finished, I was thinking about going to check up on Tom.
"Bye" I said to Melisa and Alison.
I start to walk down to Toms house.
I stood in front of his door debating whether to actually knock or not. Maybe this was not the best idea.
Before I could make a good decision I felt my hand bang on the door. Simone his mum answered.
"Oh" she says surprised to see me. "I haven't seen you in ages" she says. I smile at her. "Hi" I say sweetly. "Come on in Melanie" she says.
I walk in as Simone closes the door behind me. "You're here to see Tom, right?" She asks. I nod. "He's just upstairs" she says.
I smile and start to walk up.
I knock on his door. "Come in" I hear him say. I gulp as I grab the door nob and turn it, opening the door.
Tom looks shocked to see me.
"What you doing here?" He asks confused yet slightly happy. "Erm just to check on you" I say honestly.
"Aw how sweet" he says teasing me slightly. "That's so cute" he continues. I roll my eyes. I closed the door.
Tom was lying down on his bed.
He pats down the space beside him. "I won't bite you" he says. I walk over and sit next to him.
