"Make your heart the most beautiful thing about you."

Heiwana was in the bath, she was four years old, she doesn't remember much but she remembered her mother's honey like humming, she was singing her a lullaby, a memory from her mother's childhood.

Heiwana remembered why her mother wanted to get her in the bath in the first place, she had acquired her quirk, flight, except her white, pale wings were retractable.

Her mother just wanted Heiwana to fit back into her clothes, so she was making her relax, so her wings would retract.

Heiwana couldn't quite remembered the melody her mother was humming, but she remembered the comfort, and the warmth she felt, before she knew it, she was sitting on the floor with her mother brushing her hair.

This was one of the last memory's she had gotten with her mother, before everything went downhill.

Heiwana's head snapped towards the door, she heard a creek, she recognized the creek it was from the down stairs floor board.

"Did you hear that?" Heiwana quipped out as her mother's soothing humming stopped.

"Hear what my Angel?" Her mother Shinseina spoke, her tone was always comforting.

Creek...

It was the floor boards, and then they heard a thud, along with the creek.

The foot steps were heavy, they couldn't have been ones of a child, they were ones of a grown adult.

Her mother held her breath, she was scared? Heiwana didn't understand it at the time, Shinseina got up from her seat before walking over to the door.

Lock!

She had locked it, she hurriedly grabbed her daughter, and placed her into her wardrobe.

Heiwana remembered being covered by clothes, and hid in the wooden wardrobe, the doors weren't closed fully before her mother abruptly turned around, when the wooden door slammed open.

Heiwana doesn't like recalling that memory, she saw everything.

After that her father always blamed her, and even took a departure to USA, he's a hero over there now, her grandma watches over her, and when her grandma showed up so did her little cousin, she calls him brother, she basically raised him.

But Heiwana remembered the lullaby her mother sang and hummed to her, Ashe could never quite find the song, but it will forever play in her head as a melody, she will never be able to forget.

After her mother died, and her father took a break from raising his kids, her grandmother suggested starting over and opening a new...chapter.
