Offroad POV,"You okay?" The makeup artist had Offroad.
"Huh?" Offroad said being pulled from his thoughts. "Oh yeah, I'm fine."
"You sure," the lady made a face at him. "You keep rocking back and forth." Offroad glared at Daou who was sitting across from him, who had started chuckling.
"Oh, sorry I must have zoned out, I didn't get much sleep," Offroad smiled at her. It had nothing to do with the plug that was currently in his ass that Daou had put back in him the morning after cleaning him out from last night.
"I heard there were bugs in your room?" Their manager asked as she joined them at the hair and makeup table.
"Yes, huge ones!" Daou exclaimed.
"They weren't that big," Offroad sighed, rolling his eyes.
"You scared of some bugs Daou?" Mark, their co-star asked. Mark was a decent enough guy when he was with Offroad alone but instantly turned into an egotistical airhead when he was around Daou. Daou had made his distaste towards the man known very early on.
"Nope, I had someone in my room to kill them for me," Daou smirked at the man. Offroad rolled his eyes. Mark had come one strong to Offroad his first day on set and of course, Offroad shut it down but that didn't satisfy Daou. Mark would make flirty comments here and there and Daou would lose his mind.
"Ah, so you too roomed together?" Mark asked, sitting down in front of Offroad. "Hey Road why don't you come bunk with me tonight I could use a big killer."
"His name is Offroad to you and he won't be joining you anywhere," Daou growled from across the table.
"WOW, you sure are protective over your friend," Mark smirked this time at Daou. Every time Offroad heard someone refer to Daou as his friend he became a bit sad. They had been together for almost 3 years and because of their profession, they were allowed to tell anyone they were dating. People knew, people assumed, but some people just thought it was a joke or like Mark here made it a joke.
"Mark, they need you for costume fitting." Their manager said most likely realizing the storm that was brewing at the table.
"See ya later Road," Mark smiled at him before standing. Road was the name Daou called him when they were alone together most of the time during times when they were intimate with each other so hearing it come out of any person's mouth was unsettling to him.
"Offroad," he responded back. "My name is Offroad, please do not call me anything other than that," Offroad said, staring Mark directly in the eyes.
"Oh, sorry, I didn't-"
"It's okay," Offroad interrupted him. "Going forward just keep it strictly to Offroad." Mark nodded and turned to walk away. Offroad heard Daou chuckle, he turned to see the shit-eating grin across his boyfriend's face as his eyes followed Mark out.
"Jackass," Daou said under his breath.
"Daou!" Their manager scolded him.
"Keep him away from Offroad or this entire set will get front-row tickets to see how close we actually are," Daou said to their manager as he stood. Daou walked over to Offroad stepping beside the markup wrist and gripping Offroad's chin with his hand leaning down over him "Good boy," Daou smiled at him before kissing his forehead.
"Ou!" The makeup artist sighed. "Now I have to redo his face makeup." Daou chuckled, dropping Offroads' chin before walking back towards the sound stage. "Your boyfriend gets on my nerves," she sighed.
