The Tokito-L/N Contract; How They Fooled Us All
Time Published: 4 years ago. This article may be out of date.

Everyone surely thought that the NextUp scandals ended with Douma's imprisonment and the allegations against Kondou Megumi, however, locals in the Osaka region would beg to differ.

Passerbys on a busy road in Osaka claimed to have noticed a strange piece of rain-soaked paper laying on the road in the morning, prompting one curious person to pick the paper up and read its contents.

"It looked important, that's why." He stated in an interview. "There was even blood signatures on there, so curiosity got the best of me."

The contents of this paper? A contract detailing the terms and conditions of a fake relationship that Tokito Muichiro and L/N Y/N had been partaking in for nearly a year. Mr. Tokito even offered to reward her a sizable amount of money for each date she'd go on with him.

That makes us wonder: why did this contract end up in the middle of the road?

After closer inspection, a term on the back speaks of the complete voiding of the contract if both participating parties were to fall in love at some point.

Still, is their relationship truly real?

More at 14:00.

"Y/N..."

You stirred, rolling onto your side and pulling the covers higher onto yourself.

"Y/N, we have a long day today."

"Just give me two more minutes." You dragged your limp hand into the air and waved it dismissively as you mumbled to yourself. The faint snickering that followed had you finally opening your eyes and turning toward the direction of the noise. "Seriously?"

Muichiro, his sleep having tussled at his hair and an over-sized band shirt just barely draping off of his shoulder, covered his smile with the back of his hand and turned away to laugh at your sleep-addled state. You leaned your back onto the headboard of the bed and folded your arms across your chest as you adjusted yourself to sit up.

"Sorry," he chuckled. "You just look so funny when you're cranky."

Your room was tranquil, just like how the two of you liked it. The air conditioner quietly blew from above—Muichiro liked it cold in any room he slept in—and various decorations the two of you had picked out were pasted around the room. He'd insisted that this was the dream house that he wanted to live with you in, and despite your doubts, his intuition had proven correct.

You tiredly smiled before slapping his hand out of the way. "I hate when you do that."

"Do what?"
