The blossoming cherry blossom trees rained pink bright leaves above them. you and Haibara were talking to each other alongside Nanami. spring has arrived to their rescue. tulips are now awakening this spring as well as other flowers. having to live in Tokyo with a bunch of other sorcerers was rather pressuring to live with such surroundings since you have to train and train to fight for your life and for the lives of people who don't possess the same abilities as cursed users.
of course, comes with a lot of regrets and guilt from the lives that they failed to save. it didn't make sense since why are you suddenly in charge of keeping the norms right? No why did you have to suffer for them?
the day was spent with laughter and banter between Haibara and Nanami. It was an entertaining sight to see for you of course.
night fell dawn behind their eyes and suddenly Nanami was knocking on your dorm door. your eyes fell upon his sleep attire. it was somewhat an adorable view. he was wearing a beige shirt and striped light blue pajama pants. "I can't sleep again." he muttered, his hand rubbing the nape of his neck in awkwardness. "and Haibara?" you asked, his eyes falling into yours you gulped in nervousness like every other night when he cant sleep. "he's already asleep..." Nanami replied.
the two of you strolled around the big campus of Jujutsu high. the night was quiet and peaceful yet it was comforting to the two of them. the moonlight shone on them, making themselves visible to each other's eyes. it was rather a soft evening, the kind of evening you longed after a rough mission.
they sat on the soft green field of the campus, staring up at the starry sky above them.it almost felt like the stars were smiling down on the two of you. "Y/n, don't die before me." he spoke, making you glance at him in confusion. the three of you have each other why on earth will one of you die.
"Mhm." you hummed, nodding slightly, fiddling with the grass underneath you. "No one will die." you chuckled softly, looking up at him, your eyes glistening as you saw the expression on his face. he was smiling softly at you. the sight of his smile made you stare at him for a good long ten seconds.
"I'm scared too, Nanami."

You were walking around with Shoko and Satoru. they were at the gym, talking and laughing. Unfortunately... you weren't allowed to go with Haibara and Nanami that day since you sprained our ankle during your last mission. It was a mission to exorcise a grade 2 spirit. it didn't really bothered you since it was just a weak spirit roaming around Meiji Jingu. It was also very exciting since Haibara promised that he'll buy her sushi on the way back. You were playfully playing with Satoru's sunglasses as he played basketball, Shoko was taking pictures of you through her samsung NV15 digicam.
"Don't beak my glasses, idiot." Gojo tells you as he attempted to shoot a ball which hits the board instead of the circle ring, bouncing back to Shoko's head, making her annoyed. "what's with that you jerk!" Shoko snapped, glaring at Satoru. you burst out laughing, your eyes flickering at the two. all was well and it will end well, right?
You took her digicam to snap a picture of the two. it was a core memory, a funny one to be exact. You thought about Haibara's laugh if he witnessed this silly banter. Shoko was trying to smack Satoru but to avail due to his infinity that was protecting from harm. He was pushing away Shoko, laughing at her. You were wathcing them behind Satoru's shades, giggling softly.
The gymnasium doors flung opened. everyone was silent. Suguru was standing there, his eyes glued on the floor as if he was paralyzed. it was a reaction too familiar... a lump on his throat-- making it hard to even choke a word out-- a sorcerer's passing.
Suguru looked up from the floor, his expression was cold and empty.
Satoru was the first to speak "got your money stolen?-"
Suguru didn't let him speak any longer.
"he's gone"
