01 | "I miss her"

It was never easy when someone who's like your family, your whole world is gone and you don't know whether or not they still alive. It was the same for Jinwoo. Years past without his other half by his side, the pain he need to endure is a bit too much but he respects her wish.

"Ah, i need to stop thinking like that. She promise to stay alive for me." optimize Jinwoo. There's nothing much he can do being an E-rank hunter. 'If i was born a little bit stronger, only then i could help her' this thought was always on Jinwoo head whenever he think about her.

" No you can't! Please you really mustn't go! Please.." beg Jinwoo with tears flowed down endlessly on his face. "Jinwoo sweetheart, you know why i must go. The guilt is eating me up right now cause i know i can save them. You out of all people knows right." console stella with both her hands on Jinwoo face holding him close  their forehead touching. Brushing up his tears with her thumb she gave him a heartwarming smile hoping she can convince him but she knows he will never agree with her decision.

Holding her close to his body, he's afraid this will be the last time for both of them. "Promise me..please promise me, you will stay alive no matter what." his voice sounded so serious that it surprise the girl. "Jinwoo, you know i can't promise you that." sadness was lingering in her voice. She was on verge of breakdown seeing him pleading her like this. Jinwoo just keep holding her tighter than before.

" Please...i'm begging you..survive no matter what." last attempt of Jinwoo before letting her go, keeping eye contact with her showing the desperation in his eyes. Knowing how stubborn he is, she agreed although with hesitation. "O-okkay, i'll try to survive for you." Noticing the smile on his face she couldn't help but close the gap between them. Savoring how his lips taste for the last time before they met again.

With a heavy heart she let go first, holding both of his hands with hers, muttering the three words she wish she never said as it only cause pain for him, "Wait for me."

"Always will, always am." was his reply.

Jinwoo could only sigh hearing the team for the D-rank gate raid talking behind his back about being the weakest hunter. 'I could hear you, old geezers' thought jinwoo but choose to ignore this as it became an everyday occurrence for him.

Continuing the day with a little bit of struggle handling the goblin he sigh a little, looking at his injuries he can't help but cringe at the sight of the blood. ' I'm sure Ella would freak out looking at this, ah I miss her' thought jinwoo sadly.

After getting treated by Joohee, they continue walking through the dark cave searching for the double dungeon. If he being honest, there's this dreadful feeling all through his body begging him to turn around but who else will help provide money for his mother and sister so ignoring the feeling for now would be the best solution, not knowing what the future holds.

Stopping in front of the huge door, they have never seen a dungeon with a door before so without giving too much of a thought they proceed into the room.

"One thou shall worship the god. Two thou shall praise the god. Three thou shall prove thy faith. Those who fail to obey the commandments shall not be spared."

Who would have thought that this is more than just a regular dungeon. Many have died, believed they have a chance of survival but no matter what they did this task is just too much for them with their life at risk. Who would have thought that Jinwoo,the weakest of the weak managed to survive through all that but not without some betrayal. 'Thank you? Don't make me laugh! You running from here will result in our deaths.'

There's so much going through his mind that it might burst any second but there's one thing that he knows, he's gonna take down at least one monster with him. Alas what a weak E-rank hunter like him could do? Pierce with a sword through his stomach, blood flowing out of control all he could think was that he never get to keep his promise.

"Wait for me."

' I'm sorry bella darling, I don't think i get to keep my promise to you. ' grimly thought by Jinwoo. He couldn't even see her for the last time while taking his last breath. Tears flow out of his eyes mix with blood truly a gore sight. Eyes fluttering closed, deep shallow intake of breaths, mouth gaping for air, that's all Jinwoo could do. Clinging to death,'just one more chance. I don't wanna die.' he truly don't wanna die yet there's just so much too do and he's not ready for death.
