"Honey! I'm home!" Normally, he would be welcomed by his wife. Tonight's different, it's awfully quiet in their house.
"Huh? Honey? Haein! Where are you?" Just then, he heard a loud thud coming from upstairs. His heart is beating fast. Faster than when he confessed his love for his wife.
"Hyunwoo..." A faint voice can be heard inside their room.
"Honey? What's happening?" He's trying to unlock their door but to no avail.
"Why did you lock the door?! Can you hear me?! Please unlock the door, Hon!" Knowing his wife's condition, he's already expecting the worst.
Hyunwoo's rummaging through his bag to find his spare key. He didn't know why he was struggling to look for his keys.
After what seems like forever, Hyunwoo finally found his key.
"Hang in there, honey. I'll unlock the door."
After unlocking the door, Hyunwoo found Haein lying unconsciously on the cold floor of the room.
"Please, stay with me..." He carried her to the car to go to the hospital. Hoping this is just one of the many episodes of Haein.
"Haein-ah... Are you with me?" While holding her hand, asking her every now and then to check if she's okay. She's not responding, and her breathing isn't stable.
"I can't lose you like this, honey. Please stay with me." Already tearing up, he's losing his mind but he's trying to collect himself together for them to arrive at the hospital safely.
"We're almost there, please." He's driving as fast as he could without letting go of her hand. He felt Haein's hand tightening around his hand. He glanced at her, feeling a bit of relief since she's already conscious.
"Where are we going?" She talked weakly. Confused, you might say. One moment, she was in their room, looking at their wedding photos. Then she's at Hyunwoo's car, clueless of what happened.
"We're going to the hospital. I heard a loud thud from our room. Then I heard you call for me and the door was locked. I was panicking so much, I ran upstairs just to find the door locked. I rummaged through my bag for a good 2 minutes just to look for my spare key. Please don't lock the door next time..." She chuckled a bit, she's still weak from fainting, but Haein finds Hyunwoo cute. He said that all in one breath.
"Sorry... I didn't know I locked it. I won't do it anymore and please breathe..." She squeezed Hyunwoo's hand and smiled.
"I was panicking. I thought I would lose you." Eyes are tearing up, good thing the car has an auto-drive feature since he's been looking at his wife since the moment she gained consciousness.
