"Ouch," you cry, as your shoulder hits the wall. It wasn't necessarily a rough shove, but it wasn't exactly friendly either. A grinning face enters your field of vision. Of course, it's Gojo. Who else would be tormenting your defenseless ass? You make to squeeze past him, but his arm shoots out, barring your way.

"Hey, weakling."

Before you can respond, another figure comes into vision. Kinder, but still amused with the entirety of the situation. It's a relief to see his face.

"Satoru," the boy softly admonishes. Reluctantly, your bully removes his arm from your path and turns to walk away. Following, his friend looks back and gives you a wink.

"Thanks, Geto," you call out, finding your dignity and continuing towards the library.

"Why don't you show ME that much attention," you hear Mei Mei, a second year, ask Gojo.

"Because you kind of creep me out."

Laughter.

"See you in hand-to-hand, weakling!" Gojo turns and gives you one last grin before turning the corner, his voice echoing behind him.

Hand-to-hand. This is something you're dreading. Gojo always finds a way to pair up with you and you hate it. One of these days, you'll get him. You'll get him good, and the thought fills you with determination. You nod to the librarian, and head to the back to shelve books.

Your mother is the den mother to the students here at Jujutsu Tech. You assist in the library when not at your studies. Though not a sorcerer, it is required of all non-sorcerer employees etc to have some basic hand-to-hand training along with basic jujutsu.

You're not very good at any of it, which makes the constant teasing from Gojo all the more troublesome.

.....

Wait, Yuji interrupts. Why were you so mean to this girl?

Yeah, I hope she eventually taught you a lesson! Nobara crosses her arms over her chest, giving her sensei a pointed glare.

She was weak. Back then, I thought it pointless and irritating to have to protect others.

Do you still feel that way, sensei?

To a degree, but I also realize the necessity and the importance of what I am doing as a whole. My best friend taught me that, even if he forgot his own lessons along the way.

Your best friend?

Can we please continue, Megumi interjects. I don't want to sit here all day listening to sensei rehash his glory days.

Anyway, Gojo continues....

.....

Reaching up as far as you can, you gently place the last book on the top shelf. Just one little nudge and-

"Boo!" A pair of hands grab your ribs, and you topple backwards with a cry of surprise. To make it worse, you land right on top of Gojo, and the entire top shelf of books follow, leaving you both buried in their musty scent.

"Ouch," he exclaims looking at you accusingly. "You klutz!"

"If you hadn't-

He interrupts you, grabbing the book that lies open over your head like a tent, and recites a passage.

"She hath breasts like two globes of ivory, from whose..... What is this?" He flips the cover and pulls the book from your grasping hands. "Arabian Nights? Naughty girl!"

"Give it back," you whisper fiercely. It looks like he's just about to get started on you, and he grabs another book, perusing the title.

"Kama Sutra huh," he asks, wiggling his brows at you. "This is the type of books you read? YN, I never knew!"
