well hello there!! I decided to do a q&a for funsies so you get to know me better!! here are some questions y'all asked me and some I came up with.
QUESTION & ANSWER
1) When is your birthday? What's your star sign? my birthday is December 12, and im a sagittarius
2) For how long have you been making graphics? I've been making graphics for two years now
3) What's your fav movie? Tangled, I relate to Rapunzel a little too much. Comfort movie for suree. Also Flynn Ryder was my first fictional crush lol.
4) How long have you been on wattpad? I've been on wattpad for 4 years now. However I did take a long hiatus during all of 2022 and mid 2023. Bc 1) I started to actually have a social life and it was hard to manage both my online persona and offline life😃. And 2) bc my classmates discovered my account😭😭. But that is a story for another time :)
Anyway, I don't have any of those two problems anymore lol. Let's hope it stays that way.
5) And what brought you on the app? Harry Potter tik tok (hptiktok) i was part of that era lol. Specifically it was this fanfic I saw called Scars, which had harry as a love interest lol. Never have been a Draco girl, and never will be. It was an absolute peak era too.
I've also been part of the MCU era during 2021, so I've been here quite the while.
6) What inspired you to make graphics? I honestly don't quite remember lol. I think I started seeing a ton of other people's work and got motivated to learn. I remember my first graphics, unfortunately I lost them when I switched phones :(
7) What software do you use? And what do you recommend for beginners? I think I've said this before?? Idk. Anyway I use photopea for all my graphic work (covers, aesthetic boards, themes, and gifs). I refuse to pay for photoshop and photopea has similar features to photoshop. So why pay when you have the free version 🤷♀️
For beginners I recommend using Picsart or Pixlr Editor, that's what I used when I first began. Photopea is much more complicated software, and if you begin right away with that you will have a hard time.
8) Will you ever make a tutorials book? Im planning on it in the near future. However, I want it to be organized and give specific/good tips. So you can all ACTUALLY LEARN SOMETHING and give me a run for my money🤑 Istg there are soo many tut books that aren't helpful AT ALL.
9) What's your ethnicity? Im hispanic and latina☺️ And yes I can speak Spanish, so im also bilingual.
10) Is Mari your actual name? yes and no. my real name is maria, mari is just a nickname. I used to go by ria before my hiatus tho. You can call me maria, mari or ria, I don't mind whichever you use.
