Kumkum Bhagya - 3rd Generation

Ep.4

The episode starts with Khushi finishing her prayer.  A Pandit gives him offerings wishing him happy birthday.  Khushi asks him how does he know?  He replies that it is because she comes to the temple frequently, and that he knows her as more than just a believer.  Khushi asks for the priest's blessings and joins Diya who seemed to be getting impatient.

Diya asks Khushi what happened to her to say such a long prayer and points out that it is not her habit.  Khushi says she didn’t come to the temple only to offer prayers.  Diya immediately understands that her friend has come to wish the Almighty to find her soul mate.  She then scolds her saying that she is too young to think about boys.  Khushi returns the remark by pointing out that although they are the same age, Diya already has a boyfriend.  Diya teases her for being alone in her life, but reassures her that she has her whole life ahead of her to find the perfect man.  Then they come home.

RV, consuming alcohol, is seen driving rashly with his friends.  He heads towards the temple where he almost hits some poor pedestrians.  While Diya and Panchi are in his path, he ends up hitting the latter with his car.  But the fear of getting into trouble forces him to flee.  Diya comes to help her friend, and asks her how she is.  The girl says she is fine, but has difficulty walking.  Diya takes her home, just after promising not to tell the Tandons about this incident at the risk of worrying them.

In the street, RV parks the car, and starts to feel guilty.  Her friends ask her not to worry and that in any case, if something happens to the girl she bumped into, he won't be in trouble because he's a rich kid.  RV wonders if he should still reassure himself that the young girl, that is to say Khushi, is fine when Aliya calls him.  She requests his presence at home because she has already prepared everything for her birthday.  RV says he will be there shortly.

Khushi and Diya come home at the same time Ashok leaves for work.  Afraid that he will question them, the two girls sneak into the house in secret and without his knowledge.  Once home, they try as best they can to avoid Manpreet, Vishaka and Rhea.  When Khushi finally reaches her room, Diya who remained in the living room, meets Rhea.  She asks her where Khushi is, to which she replies that she went to take a nap because she had a slight migraine.  Rhea, worried, suggests making soup for her, and asks Diya to do it as she, Manpreet and Vishaka still have to go shopping for Khushi's birthday.  Diya agrees.

Diya enters Khushi’s room and gently closes the door.  Khushi asks why she closes the door quietly if there is no one in the house.  Diya in turn asks her how she knows that her aunt and grandparents are out?  She replies that even in this room, she can hear her because she speaks so loudly.  The two girls smile at each other, then Diya asks him how his leg is.  As soon as Khushi shows it to her, she is immediately surprised to see a huge wound there.  Khushi says she is in pain and can’t get rid of the pain.  Diya suggests informing Rhea or a doctor, but she refuses saying she doesn't want to worry them.  Diya tells herself that this is just an excuse because she is afraid of going to the doctor.  So she thinks to inform Rhea.

At Kholis mansion, RV returns from home when the whole family wishes him happy birthday by dropping confetti on him.  He compliments everyone on the organization's effort, and specifically thanks Aliya for organizing everything.  She asks him how his little car ride went.  RV remembers the incident from earlier and says to himself that if he tells anyone about it, they will think he is irresponsible.  He reassures everyone that the ride went well, although Pallavi and Aryan have some doubts.  At the same time, Aaliya receives a call where she learns that the delivery of the cake will be delayed.  He asks RV to get ready in his room while waiting.

Diya hides in the kitchen to make a call to Rhea.  She asks her what's going on and thinks she set fire to the kitchen while trying to make soup.  Diya tells him about the recent events and Khushi's accident, asking him to apologize for hiding such a serious thing.  Rhea says she has already finished shopping and is coming soon.  As soon as Diya hangs up, she notices that Khushi was there all along.  She calls her a traitor and asks her not to speak again before returning to her room.

While getting ready, RV keeps remembering the moment he collided with Khushi.  Seeing him in this state, Aryan comes in and asks him what is the problem?  RV says he made a big mistake, but he's afraid to tell her.  Aryan replies that he is his father and no matter what nonsense his son does, he will try to be understanding.  RV tells him everything and Aryan is shocked.

Rhea returns home, panicked.  She arrives outside Khushi's room and sees Diya who says that Khushi doesn't want to see her anymore because she broke her promise.  Rhea says she will arrange everything, just before checking on Khushi.  At his request, the latter opens the door.  Rhea first starts by yelling at him saying that it's irresponsible to hide your pain, especially from those you care about.  She tells him that she is not only his niece, but is like his daughter.  She also adds that although Diya is not her blood sister, she behaves like one, hence she should try to understand her rather than getting angry with her.  Seeing her aunt crying, Khushi apologizes to her saying that it was not her intention to make her sad.

Rhea asks Khushi to show her leg, to which she gets surprised at the injury.  When she asks how this happened, Diya explains everything to her in great detail.  Rhea promises that this act will not go unpunished and promises to make the culprit pay.
