This is a revised and updated version of my original fan fiction, "Calls Past Midnight," available on Wattpad. The original version will remain up for those who want to read it. The original was more canon-compliant to Borrowed Time, while this will be more of an AU.
While not a lot has necessarily changed, I've added more depth to the story and explored certain aspects that I felt were glossed over in the original. Given the heavy topics addressed in this story, I felt it was important to provide a more nuanced portrayal.
This will be ALOT longer than "Calls Past Midnight," as now that I'm breaking it into chapters I will add a lot more character interactions as well as a lot more plot for after Juliette gets out of the hospital. (Plus adding a brief comphet Juliette plot because I love angst.)
This is set around September - Maybe Early October relative to Borrowed Time (Chapters 4-7).
