Is Magic? (VERSION IN ENGLISH)

Chapter 1 - The Lovers

This story begins in the Golden Kingdom shortly after the murder of its previous rulers on February 8, 1969.

The only survivor was their youngest daughter Hanna, at only 13 years old she had become The Golden Queen.

The first law she decreed ended up being the most important of all.

"Any kind of Magic is strictly forbidden, anyone who breaks this rule depending on things like social status or severity of the infraction will be beheaded or expelled from the kingdom."

She thought she was going to have to rule alone until a certain Frenchman came into her life....

At the age of 15 she met Dave at a party in the town, Hanna was wearing a beautiful pastel yellow dress, her brown hair loose and her Atlantic blue eyes stole the show.

Dave on the other hand was wearing brown pants with a brown jacket and, underneath a white button down shirt, to complete and hide his tousled hair he wore a beret.
He is from France but has learned several languages over the years, as his dream is to travel the world, so communication was not a problem.

Hanna was sitting next to the dance floor, many people asked her to dance but she turned them down, she was not in the mood to put up with a bunch of interested people trying to get the throne, Dave approached her and greeted her kindly. It should be clarified that he was not aware that she was the future queen, he saw a beautiful girl and decided to go and greet her, she noticed that by his informal and confident way of speaking to her.

Hanna returned the greeting and they started chatting for a long time...

Is this what is called love at first sight? wondered both young men confused by the feelings that were going around in their heads.

Dave ventured and asked the girl sitting next to him if she would be interested in dancing with him.

She accepted.

They danced all night until his feet could not take it anymore, when they sat down to rest Dave decided that he was going to love and protect this girl until the end of his days.

Hanna thought she had finally found someone to really love her for who she is.

Dave hid his feelings for 2 years, he was afraid of damaging the precious friendship he had with Hanna, just being her friend made him happy but he couldn't help dreaming of her being his girlfriend and in the future his wife. Until one day he came out to her, Hanna didn't hesitate and accepted him.

They had many happy moments together, in the Palace Garden and in the village, cooking, planting and having picnics.... They are so happy in those moments.

One day Hanna and Dave are having a picnic in the garden, they are having fun and having a nice time, and then Dave decides to take the initiative, he kneels down and from his pocket he takes out a beautiful ring and after a few words showing his nervousness he asks her to marry him.

Hanna has no words so she just nods feeling a huge relief because, someone loves her and loves her so much that he would spend his whole life with her...
They get married and become official Rulers of the Golden Kingdom, their wedding was organized by Hanna and it was a dream.

The cake was baked and decorated together, the decorations were made with the children of the village and for the flowers of her bouquet she took the flowers that her grandmother planted many years ago and had spread around the house.

Her wedding dress was a beautiful white dress in the traditional style, but with gold details on the tiara and on the skirt of the dress.

They were happily married and the whole village celebrated with joy for their new leaders, the village was happy and they were happy.

But there was only one thing they longed for with all their souls, a son, it is a common desire in some couples you will think to take care of you when you are older and to give joy to your life and those were some of their reasons but not the only ones, as rulers of the Kingdom one of their duties is to procreate an heir for a new generation to continue exercising command over that people.

Their term of office? 5 years, if they did not do it in that time the Senate would punish them by banishing them and leaving them without any belongings as well as taking control.

Luckily for them and their legacy 3 years later Hanna manages to get pregnant, after a hard labor she gives birth to a little girl with the beautiful dark brown hair of her father and eyes like her mother's, the people are celebrating the arrival of the heiress of the kingdom, to show their joy and excitement they begin to sing as they normally do but now with a feeling of happiness and relief...

I hope you liked this first chapter, originally I wasn't going to go deeper into Hanna and Dave's story, but I have a feeling it will be a great help to understand things in the future :D
