Arjun and Subhadra was sitting in the room in each others arms remembering the birth of their twins and there emotions
FLASHBACK
The night sky over Hastinapur was unusually clear, the stars shimmering like diamonds against the velvet blackness. Inside the grand palace, the atmosphere was charged with anticipation and nervous energy. Subhadra, wife of Arjun, was in labor, and the entire household was on edge, waiting for news of the impending birth.
In the dimly lit birthing chamber, the air was thick with the mingled scents of incense and medicinal herbs. Subhadra lay on a plush bed, her face flushed with effort and pain, her hands gripping the sheets tightly. The midwives, experienced and calm, moved around her with practiced ease, their soothing murmurs blending with Subhadra's rhythmic breathing.
Arjun paced just outside the door, his heart pounding in his chest. He had faced countless battles, but nothing had prepared him for the anxiety he felt now. Every cry from Subhadra sent a pang of worry through him, and he found himself praying fervently to the gods for her safety and the safe delivery of their children.
"Stay strong, my love," he whispered to himself, wishing he could be by her side, holding her hand and sharing her burden.
Inside the chamber, Subhadra's breath came in short, sharp gasps. "It hurts," she whispered, her voice tinged with both pain and determination.
One of the midwives wiped her brow gently. "You're doing wonderfully, my lady. Just a little more. Your son is almost here."
Subhadra nodded, gritting her teeth as another contraction wracked her body. She focused on the thought of her child, drawing strength from the knowledge that soon she would hold her baby in her arms.
Moments later, a piercing cry shattered the stillness of the night. Arjun's heart leapt to his throat. He rushed towards the door but was gently held back by a midwife who stepped out to deliver the news. Her face was glowing with a smile as she spoke, "A son, my lord. You have a healthy son."
Relief washed over Arjun, but before he could fully process the news, another cry echoed from the chamber, this one softer, more delicate. The midwife's smile widened. "And a daughter. You have been blessed with twins."
Tears of joy sprang to Arjun's eyes as he was finally allowed to enter the room. Subhadra, exhausted but radiant, cradled their newborns in her arms. Arjun approached slowly, almost reverently, as if afraid that any sudden movement might shatter the beautiful moment. He knelt beside Subhadra, his eyes filled with awe as he looked at his children.
"They're beautiful," he whispered, his voice choked with emotion. He reached out to gently touch Abhimanyu's tiny hand, which curled around his finger with surprising strength. "Hello, my son," he murmured, his heart swelling with pride.
"And our daughter," Subhadra added softly, her gaze shifting to the sleeping form of Abhinaya. "She's so peaceful."
Arjun leaned in to kiss Subhadra's forehead, his eyes never leaving the faces of their children. "You were incredible," he said, admiration and love evident in his voice. "Thank you for bringing them into this world."
Subhadra smiled weakly, her exhaustion evident but overshadowed by the joy in her eyes. "I couldn't have done it without you," she replied. "Your strength, your love—it kept me going."
As the family gathered to see the newborns, the room filled with warmth and love. Yudhishthira placed a gentle hand on Abhimanyu's head, offering a silent blessing. Bhima, unable to contain his excitement, laughed heartily and promised to teach the boy all he knew about strength and bravery. Nakula and Sahadeva, the twins among the Pandavas, took turns holding Abhinaya, marveling at her tiny features and promising to always protect her.
