Caera Pov

'So cold' I thought while covered in 3 bedrolls, 'Ark's coat was so warm, unfortunately I had to return it since he also needs it.' it was what I thought but I had noticed him, he was unbothered by the weather from the time he gave me his coat. But what bothered me about him was his sudden changes in appearance, both him and Grey knew what was the cause, they were mysterious especially Ark, his sudden encounter with us and with no core to his fight with Grey. The way he uses his sword shows how unexperienced he is but he was able to fight Grey using just his own codified form of hand to hand combat. I was lost in thought before I heard footsteps coming near me.

I was about to stood up when I heard a voice or a whisper you can say, it was Ark "Hey Caera, it's me Ark, I hope I didn't disturb you anyway I wanted to ask if you don't mind sharing the bedroll with-" I got tensed and stop shivering before he could continue I stood up and continued shivering even though I am covered with 3 bedrolls I said with a blush "Ark, While I do admit You're quite handsome, Don't think that getting me into your bedroll will be so easy." in a teasing tone I was expecting a reaction to my comment but he just smirked like he was expecting this.

"My Lady sorry for the inconvenience but I didn't think you would be so bold to make such comment without listening my request, what I wanted to say before was that I was asking that if you don't mind sharing bedroll with me and Grey, hearing your comment made me feel like you would have accepted my request if I had to share the bedroll with me only." He said in a more teasing tone than me. "I.." before I could say anything he stopped me by gesturing and just smiled at my face which was crimson red from embarrassment he said "Well I would like to tease you more but we should rest as it is late so, should I take a yes from you?" to which I gave a nod he continued "Ok then we should go to Grey. Hey Grey! you don't have any problem, right?" 'He didn't even ask him!? What if he said no?' I questioned in my thoughts which was answered by Grey "Do whatever you want." in an uninterested tone. Ark replied "Ok sir! anyway deploy that parasitic pup to guard the place."   

'Pup? oh he means Regis' I chuckled in my thoughts which was disturbed by a growl and a angered voice, it was Regis who jumped out from Grey's body "Fucking bitch, I am not a pup, say that again and I will tear you apart." "Ok Mr parasite." Ark shot back "You-" before Regis could say anything Grey cut him off by saying "Both of you stop, Regis guard the place while we take some rest, I trust you very much so I believe that you can do this job after your job is done I will give 15% of my reserves." "Ok sir, Thank you sir." Regis said as he ran towards the platform.

"Now, let's go before you become a ice statue." Ark said as he gestured me to come, we walk towards Grey who was laying on his bedroll uninterested. "So you take the middle both me and Grey will sleep at the side." I suggested to which both Grey and Ark gave me a nod. We took our position and laid down on the bedroll Ark gave me his coat saying that he doesn't need it, at first I hesitated but he kept forcing me so I had to take it. 'It was warm, and this aroma it is addicting, this coat feels special though I don't know why it feels like that.' I thought while clutching the coat around me.

'Damn! what an ideal quest, good rewards with a penalty that I don't want hell, I don't want any kind of penalty from the quest window they are huge pain in ass.' I thought listening to my thoughts Asmodeus replied 'Well, I don't know about your PTSD but I want to sleep with our Horn goddess.' 'Man what a kind of system is like him so much horny and it is your horn goddess for me she is just Caera.' I said. 'Ok I don't care about opinions but anyway you should start to work because this quest is without a time limit but that doesn't means you will not fail the quest, and knowing you, I know you will not take advantage of the situation so what is your plan?' Asmodeus replied hearing him made me surprised even though time he was with me was minimum he understood what kind of person I was. 'Since you know, let's proceed with my plan.' I said while smirking as I told him my plan the only word escaped from his mouth was 'Genius.' 'Let's do it.' I said 'Aye Aye captain.'
