The next day, he had scared mineta he barely could sleep. The thoughts of everything he been throgh having replayed in his mind repeatedly. He wasn't even given a second of rest.. more stressed as two police officers walked into his room. Dressed in their usual cop attire, something to expect, despite this, mineta felt a pit in the bottom of his stomach. He knew why they were here. To ask questions... to get answers, he himself didn't fully have.. how could he answer them without looking like a complete lunatic? It was impossible. And the silence was on for seemingly forever...
Until one of the cops made a "ahem" to get his attention before saying bluntly. " Young man... what broke out of the lab? we know you were there, while a victim... you may know what we're dealing with.. and be honest."
The words stabbed into the young teens heart. He knew there was no way around it.. he would have to admit his crimes. about the monster he became when hunger hit. The monster who ate over 5 civilians at this point. He couldn't hold it. And he was softly crying, grapping into the blanket his ball hair leaking and becoming a tar like state "I... I'm sorry... I'm so sorry. " *was all he could say he just couldn't say anything else he kept repeating it over sbd over unable to stop nails digging into his skin as he cried. Suddenly, one of the cops got in his face, shouting, "STOP SOBBING AND TELL US!"
The shout made mineta scream and struggle to breathe.. he didn't know what was happening. His chest just felt tight and hurt. After his blood curiling scream, a small group of nurses ran it one running by minita trying to calm him down while the other two shoved the policeman out of his room. He was too panoxwd that he needed a needle of medicine, which made him panic more. The nurses had to pin and stick the needle in him. After a bit, mineta calmed slightly, laying against the woman near him. She was so sad for the kid. It was clear to her that something traumatic happened so traumatic he couldn't speak of it.
Meanwhile, the other nurses shoved the cops towards the exit, the second one having to pull his partner that screamed at mineta. He was too shocked he couldn't stop his partner until the damage was done. One out he spat out " what the hell was that? Screaming at a victim from the league of villians? Are you serious!?" He was disappointed at his work partners actions and lack of empathy
The other cop scoffed and said, " Look, they found human flesh in his teeth, same ones macthing those poor victims, he not a victim its clear he's that thing whatever those villans did fucked him he needs locked up for everyone's safety!"
*he shook his head* " we don't know if he did that with sanity attached or not.. and by the looks of it, he's not even stable he's a kid had who knows what was done to him, and your luckey if I don't tell the head of police the shouting you gave that kid. Now get back to work. We'll need someone else to question him by next month... just get out of my sight... please.."
*the other sighed, then nodded* ".. sorry... this is just insane.." *but he walked away, not posing a difficulty*
*Once his partner was gone, he pulled a cigarette out, lighting it and smoking it... they failed to get any leads or answers... he just hoped the next person sent could possibly get at least more than they had... however, he did know this ... mineta defentky frkt remorse, so he wasn't cold blooded but defently needed help to recover.. hopefully it wss fast so they could take the villins down.. before another victim as lost to them.*
