chapter 9: get together?

𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿'𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘃-

It's morning and dhruv was getting ready to leave for office... That's when a message came..

"Meet me at xyz cafe, at 5pm , I'll be there"

"Ok" .

It's 4:58~

Ahana already reached the cafe but dhruv didn't ...
"Where the hell is he?" Ahana said underneath her breath.

And that's when it's exactly 5:00 and dhruv entered the cafe in his formals making everyone stare at him including Ahana.

He went straight to Ahana and sit in the chair front of her.

"Are you done staring at me?" Dhruv said.

Ahana coming out of his own world , said..

"Very punctual you are" Ahana said making a impressed face .

"Come to the point" dhruv said straightly.

" You already know the matter.. I don't want to marry you" Ahana said.

"As if I'm dying to marry you" dhruv said straightly.

"Fine then let's tell our parents together that we are not interested in each other , waise bhi today we are having get together na" ahana said confusing Dhruv.

"What get together?" Dhruv asked confused.

"You don't know? Mr.malhotra invited me and dad for some discussion" ahana said

"Whatever.. we'll clear it before this discussion only" dhruv said and stood to leave .

"Atleast let's have a coffee" ahana said while standing up .

"I'm not here for coffee" dhruv said and left.

"Finee" ahana said more like shouted.

In the car~

Dhruv was calling someone..

"Maa I think you should have told me once because you invite ahana to home" dhruv said stern.

"I forgot about it" mrs.malhotra said.

"Maa seriously what is happening?" Dhruv said when he got irritated by his mother's behaviour.

"What Dhruv? I just told you to get married since it's the right time and you are not ready ? Why? What's wrong in getting married?" Mrs.malhotra shouted.

"Sorry" dhruv said and disconnected the call.

Dhruv was speechless because he don't know why out of nowhere his mother is this eager to make him marry and just doing everything by her own without even asking him once.

He just got back home and he straightly went to his room without even glancing once the hall.

"Hello mr.malhotra how are you" mr.sharma said who just entered the malhotra mansion with Ahana .

"Great Mr.sharma what about you?" Mr.malhotra replied with a smile.

"I'm absolutely fine" mr.sharma said.

"Abhi go and say your brother to come down" mrs.malhotra said to Abhi more like demanded.

Abhi went upstairs and knocked the door.

"Who is it?" Dhruv asked.

"Me Bhai" abhi replied and dhruv opened the door.

"Bhai maa is calling you downstairs" abhi said and dhruv agreed. Abhi was surprised on how his brother agreed in one go only..

They both came down..

"Hello Dhruv" mr.sharma said.

"Hello mr.sharma" dhruv replied and sat on the sofa and leaning his body towards the sofa and crossing his legs..

"Soo we both wanted to make sure that you both are ready to get married? Just yes or no" mr.malhotra said straightly and seriously.

"Yes" Ahana said.
Dhruv looked at her and then looked back where he was looking. Everyone was happy with Ahana's answer.. now they all looked at dhruv curiously.

"Yes" as long as dhruv said this , Ahana's eyes got wide open because she thought he will definitely reject the offer but he did opposite..
Malhotras were equally shocked about his answer but then Everyone celebrated this..

After sometime ~

"Meet me outside now" a message came to Dhruv's phone.

Outside~

"Why the hell you agreed?" Ahana shouted.

"Why you agreed han? To not become the villain of this story and be in everyone's good books" dhruv shouted back.

"Come to the point ...Now how we'll tackle this situation" ahana said seriously.

Thats when dhruv got a call.

"Sir is everything okay?" A guy from the other side of the phone asked.

"Yes.. we are getting married" dhruv said and disconnected the call without even listening to the opposite side of the call.

Ahana was confused that who is he telling about our marriage but didn't bother to ask much.

"You know what I have an idea in mind .. meet me tomorrow" ahana just said and left .

"I don't have time" dhruv shouted from behind.

"Not my problem" ahana said and left.

It's night~

In Dhruv's room.

"Bhai why you agreed on marrying Ahana?" Abhi asked curiously.

"Because -"
