Y/n and Adam are in the same Math class, so she's used to Adam running his mouth to everyone there. The teacher included. Today Ray, Adam's bully, was called up to the front to answer a math problem... and well he got the problem wrong. So Adam did what he does best and humiliated Ray in front of the whole class.

At this point he's asking for it..

TIME SKIP

"Reed! Get your ass back here!"

Y/n hears the angry voice of Ray from down the hall. Everyone was making their way to their next class except Ray and Chuck. They were on their way to get revenge on Adam. Predictable.

As Y/n shoves her stuff from last class back into her locker she looks behind her. She sees the blonde boy running down the halls with Ray and his minion Chuck behind him. As Adam's friend Y/n knows how this is going to go. Adam will run his mouth, Ray will beat the shit out of him, they get suspended. That's how it always is. A part of you feels bad for Adam. Even though he deserves what he gets for saying all that he does, he can't exactly defend himself.

The three boys run down the stairs until Ray and Chuck catch up to him on the landing of the staircase. (I think that's what it's called) Ray grabs Adam by the shoulders and shoves him back against the wall

R: "huh no more jokes?!"

A: "Actually I-

Ray punches him in the face.

R: "Oh I'm gonna enjoy this." He says with a smirk.

A: "Who talks like that! Did order a bully starter kit off Amazon or something?"  He says mockingly.

A: "Chuck. We talked about this."

C: "I didn't say anyth-"

A: "Shut up chuck-"

He's cut off by being kneed in the stomach

Y/n's next class is conveniently downstairs so once she saw Adam sitting against the wall wheezing, she didn't hesitate to help.

Y/n drops her stuff beside Adam and sits on her knees in front of him

Y/n: "Adam what the hell.."

No response

She sighs and reaches in his pocket, she pulls out his inhaler. Y/n shakes it then takes off the cap putting the mouth piece into his mouth. She presses down on the top, spraying the mist into his mouth for him to inhale.

"Hold it.. 3..2..1"

(Ew why is explaining an inhaler so hard😭)

Adam exhales, able to breathe again

A: "thanks.. all though I was fully capable-"

Y/n: "just appreciate the help." She says annoyed as she tosses the inhaler back to him.

Y/n gets up from the floor and picks up her stuff. Adam raises his hand for her to help him up.. but she just stares back at him.

Y/n: "I thought you were fully capable!"

A: "yea, yea.."

He gets up from the floor and stands in front of her his nose running with blood

Y/n: "y'know I'd say see you around but I think you're about to get suspended.. again"

A: "yea.. sounds about right."

He looks over at the chairs in front of the office. Then y/n starts walking to class.

A: "you know if you wanna see me so bad I have a house- you can come see me.." He says in a slightly flirty tone.

Y/n: "goodbye Adam." She says while walking down the hall.

Adam watches her go, almost as if he's upset that she's leaving his presence, but then smiles at her annoyed tone before the principal emerges from his office.
