"You excited for school to be out?" I asked her while drinking the water.

"Of course I am. Are you?"

I nodded putting my arm on the table all the way. "I can't wait to graduate. I might graduate early or sum."

The plans I have for myself just don't align with that whole extra year of senior year. I'll do it if I absolutely have to do though. If I had it my way, I would definitely skip out on it.

"If you do it, I'll do it too."

"Why? You tryna be like me?" I questioned.

She furrowed her eyebrows looking offended. "No, but it'll be easier if I know someone going through that process."

"Would you be sad if I left senior year?"

"Yes." She said quick to my liking.

I cheesed. "Why?"

"Because..."

"Cause why?" I asked over.

She shrugged looking away from me. I tapped her back with my hand that was behind her. We were sitting the distance of my arm length, so I didn't have to do no crazy stretch.

She looked back at me. "Yes?"

"Tell me why you would miss me?"

I just wanted to know for real.

"We would all be sad—

"I know Chase and solana would be, but how bout you?"

"Uhm.. because you wouldn't experience the things we would experience as a group," she gave a tight lipped smile.

I nodded slowly looking at my shoes. "Type shi."

I feel like it was a deeper answer she was just not gonna tell me, but I guess.

"Would you be sad if I left?"

"Nah," I joked looking back up.

She frowned. "Oh.."

"Girl you know I'm playing. I would be upset if you left us cause we got used to you, and now you apart of our life."

"Awe! I feel the same, buttttt would you personally miss me since you asked? And no, I actually didn't know if you were playing."

I thought about it for a sec.

"I would miss bothering you, seeing you, lunch time, and uh... oh, asking you for the answers in class, and seeing your fits." I thought about how she didn't know if I was playing. "You think I would be happy you left?"

Don't want her to think that.

"Not necessarily happy, but.. you joke so much, I can't be so sure."

"You gotta know when I'm joking with you. You like a s— very good friend of mine so get used to it."

I was gonna say sister, but nah. Thinking your "sister" is fine is weird as hell. People think me and solana, or even Chase and lana, they think we dated her or something.
