Kakyion sat in his hospital just listening to the beep of all the monitors he was hooked up to. He was confined to bed rest for 6 weeks while his spine recuperated after being severely damaged and inactive for 12 years. He rubbed his hand over his stomach feeling the rough scar tissue that memorialized his fight with Dio. He just sat with his thoughts, he still didn't regret shouting at his mother but he still wished he wasn't alone. He picked up the scrapbook that Jotaro left and flicked through the thick pages seeing the notes written beside each photo in Jotaro's neat cursive. He remembered that there was a diary that he didn't look at. Well, it's not like he's going to see Jotaro again. That thought was like a shot through the heart. Jotaro was his first and only friend and sometimes Nori wished they had something more but he knew that Jotaro didn't like him the same way he was constantly followed by a group of pretty girls. From a young age, Kakyion knew he wasn't attracted to girls; he just didn't picture himself with any girl. When he came out to his mom, she just said it was because he hadn't met the right girl, or any girl for that matter. The last comment hurt him but he knew his parents were quite traditional and didn't understand what he was going through. But it couldn't hurt to try. Jotaro could just choose any girl and they would fall for him immediately. That didn't stop Nori from fantasizing about their future together for all he knew Jotaro had a wife or girlfriend.

Well, he opened the first page and immediately shut the book again, the sight of Pages of Jotaros handwriting was too much, it reminded him too much of the loss of someone he loved with all his heart.

As he put the diary back down on the table and reached for the briefcase to put it back into he saw the crumpled list of phone numbers and his face lit up. It was hoped that he could contact Jotaro.

His mum had dropped off some new gadgets for Kakyoin to use. One was a mobile telephone, Nori was amazed when he first used it. It felt like he was in the future, well to him he was but that was beside the point it meant that he could call someone on that list, they might know Jotaro.

He looked at the top name on the list, Josuke Higashita, and decided to type in the number.

Ring Ring

"Hello, who is this ?"

It sounded like a teenager, why did Jotaro have this kid number, but that's beside the point

"Hi, yes sorry I'm trying to contact Mr Jotaro Kujo, my name is Noriaki Kakyion, and I got your number from a list he left. Do you know him?"

There was silence on the line

" I'm sorry, what was your name again ?"

"Noriaki Kakyion?"

" Yes, Yes I know Jotaro and I know about you, sorry that's creepy but I've heard about you, I'm Jotaro's uncle Josuke nice to meet you."

"Ah ok yes nice to meet you too"

"Can I meet you in person sorry but I'm super awkward over the phone"

"Yes sure, I'm located in room 28 of The Morioh Town Hospital"

The phone call ends. Jotaro's uncle? Nori hadn't heard of Jotaro having an uncle. And this guy sounded young like 16 years old how could he be Jotaro's uncle?

Kakyion was quite nervous now. Maybe this guy didn't know Jotaro but was pretending but he recognised Nori's name. And what was this kid's relationship with Jotaro in an emotional sense? Were they friends, enemies, or just aquaintances? As Nori was spacing out thinking about these things there was a knock on his room door.

"Hello ?, Mr Kakyion ?"

"Yes, come in"

The door opened to a tall 16-year-old with a pompadour. he stood with an awkwardness in his stance, fidgeting with his fingers and not meeting Kakyions gaze.

" Please call me Noriaki, I assume you are Josuke Higashigita"

"Yes sir, sorry Noriaki, I wanted to talk to you about Jotaro"

"It's alright and yes I also wanted to talk to you about Jotaro"

"Well umm, I heard from Jotaro that you and he were good friends and you died ?"

" Well that would be correct but I was saved by The SWF and have been in a coma for 12 years and well when I woke up" Kakyions professional voice faltered and cracked " I had no memory of our trip to Egypt"

"Well, how do you remember Jotaro now?"

"He had left the scrapbook we had made with all the pictures of our trip to Egypt and I guess they reignited my memories."

"Why didn't you call Jotaro then to tell him because well he was really upset"

"My mother cursed him out of the room when he visited and threatened him to never come back because she believed him to be the one that did this to me either directly or indirectly"

"Woah that sucks, did you call me then to get back in contact with Jotaro?"

"Yes exactly!"

...

" Well I can see if I get him to visit you but I don't know I can't promise anything"

"That's all I'm asking for that you so much"

" Wait I think I could do something else to help you"

"What do you mean ?"

" My stand is Crazy Diamond can heal people"

"You have a stand ?"

"Yes, can I use it on you ? I just mean like it would be a favour for Jotaro to get this best friend up and move again?"

"I don't see why not go ahead Josuke"

JOTARO'S POV

He was at peace with himself again or as much as he could be knowing he would see his best friend again but they would never be friends again. Jotaro was at his desk finishing his thesis on the starfish of Morioh.

KNOCK KNOCK

Again only Josuke came to Jotaro's room to talk to him the rest of them just called him up but Josuke hated talking on the phone. "Yes Josuke come in"

Josuke looked extremely nervous which piqued Jotaro's interest.

"What is it Josuke you look troubled ?"

"I've got some news for you but it has to be a surprise so you need to close your eyes and follow me"

"What is this Josuke just tell me"

" I can't just close your eyes"

"Just to humour you, I'll close my eyes"

What Jotaro had failed to notice was that Josuke was holding a large slab of stone. This stone was from the hospital. Josuke guided Jotaro onto the slab and hit it with Crazy Diamond.
