"She told you she didn't want to, you son of a bitch!"

Carina angrily went to Mark's side and maneuvered her arm towards Mark's throat, pushing Mark's back hard against the wall.

"If I ever see you next to Maya again, I'll kill you, Mark. If I see you forcing yourself on any woman again, I'll kill you. Did you hear me?"

Mark shook his head in a scared way to the meaning of 'OK' many times. The moment Carina released Mark, Mark didn't even look behind him, he ran away from where he was. Carina looked at Maya, who was standing there scared. She took care of her steps so as not to scare her any more.

"Are you all right?"

"I'm all right. Thank you, you didn't have to do this."

"I didn't do it because it was you. If there was any woman in your place, I would do it again. Because he is a man, he has no right to treat women the way he wants."

Maya didn't say anything. She just thought she had to get away from there at that moment. Carina observed Maya for a while, feeling Maya's distress.

"I'll tell you what. How about we declare a truce for today? Let's go to the beach and have ice cream. Is it OK?"

Maya looked at Carina with wide eyes. Seeing the sincerity in Carina's eyes, she nodded. The two women started walking silently side by side towards the beach. When they came to the beach, they saw an ice cream truck and looked at each other. With a silent agreement, they walked together to the ice cream truck.

"What kind of ice cream do you want?"

"I think I'll have the Italian caramel."

"Good choice."

Carina wanted to pay for the ice creams by placing both her own order and Maya's order. Although Maya wanted to object, Carina insisted.

"Maya, I invited you. Please let me pay."

Maya stood there and looked at Carina. Instead of Carina, who had been dealing with him for two years, annoying her, she saw a gentler woman. Maya saw the real Carina at that moment. Carina took both ice creams and looked at Maya. When she saw that Maya was watching her, she felt ashamed. She waited for Maya to hand over her ice cream and pick it up.

Their fingers brushed against each other for a brief moment as Maya picked up her ice cream. Feeling the energy between the two women, they just stood there without moving for a while. They ate their ice cream on the one hand and continued to walk in silence on the other.

When Carina sat down on the beach, Maya sat down on the floor next to her. Carina watched Maya sitting under the moonlight, while Maya watched the waves of the sea. Since the coast where they were located was close to the airport, the planes were preparing to land low. At that time, a plane flying low over them had passed. Maya looked at the plane flying over them with a smile on her face.
