Confused Love

The Arrival

I snap open my eyes with gasps of air, feeling like I can't breath and my lungs were just going to fail. I look down at my hands which are shaking, but I couldn't tell if it was because I was cold, or if I was scared.

I close my eyes shut, tightly. Then start to hum to calm down, hoping it would help. I leave my eyes closed and continue humming, slowly beginning to calm down until I start to feel something watching me. So I open my eyes quickly and turn. I see a red flashing light, flashing in a pattern. I squint my eyes to see in properly but it disappears.

"Hello?!" I try yelling but my voice is as quiet as a mouse, I couldn't get any words out. I look around, examining the area I'm in, desperate for a way out.
The room I'm in has a box, which I'm guessing is full of materials, a bucket full of water and some sheets with some food. It seems like the room is an elevator, but bigger, It's like a place that you keep animals captive but different.

Suddenly I come to an abrupt stop, causing me to fall to the ground while looking up at the dark roof. I here loud footsteps start rushing towards me so I open one of the boxes and grab out a pocket knife to defend myself if it could be danger. I put the knife in my pocket and step into a corner of the box, hiding myself so I don't get seen. The roof creeks open as the bright sunlight slips in the elevator as a blonde boy jumps in looking around the room. I stay quiet whilst hiding behind a stack of boxes, trying not to get seen.

"Looks like there isn't a new shank this time. I guess we just got sent food instead" the blonde boy says, as I listen I notice he has a British accent. I also notice a group of people, that sounded like boys talking in a loud tone. The Brit boy looks around and sees my shoulder so he walks over to the boxes I'm standing behind and pulls me out, revealing me to the others.

"She's a girl?!" "Why is there a girl here?!" "How did she get here?" Different voices shouted, as everyone looked shocked but the Brit boy just stood infront of me with a small smile, he grabs my arm and lifts me out of the cage-like-elevator. "May I?" He extends his hand out for mine and I take it so he can show me around.
