The air in Daya's apartment crackled with nervous energy. He was restless, flitting from one activity to another, trying to distract himself from the image of Shreya's lips on his. He'd been avoiding her calls all day, his phone buzzing with unanswered messages, each one a silent accusation of his cowardice.

The next day at the office, Shreya and team were eagerly waiting for Daya to arrive. Shreya had a glow on her face which wasn't hidden from anyone. Everyone gathered for morning routine meeting.
