━━━━━━━━━━━━

IT HAS BEEN A WEEK since the champion selection and it seems almost the entire school is hating on Harry Potter. They believe he's an attention seeker who just can't allow someone else to get the glory.

It's utter bullshit if you ask Lyra. Harry has gotten into enough danger and trouble these past few years, and he hates the attention he gets because he's 'the boy who lived', so why would he enter the tournament - a magnet for both? He's fifteen so he couldn't have entered his name himself even if he used magic because nothing can get past the Age Line. Not to mention the low possibility of an older student putting Harry's name in for him seeing how much trouble would follow with the school and Ministry. It's beyond Lyra how some others haven't even thought of this and just went along with being rude to her friend.

Lyra really needs to talk to Harry about it, but it seems he's trying to avoid people. She can't blame him.

One afternoon, she and Neville sit in the busy courtyard in their free period, the former listening to the latter talk about the herbology book Professor Moody gave him. Neville has always been passionate about the subject and Lyra doesn't mind him talking her ear off because she enjoys spending time with him.

In the middle of his explanation of the Dittany, a healing and restorative herb that makes fresh skin grow over a wound, Wren appears and sits on the cobble ground at their feet, holding something and making their conversation halt.

"Look at this. Millicent Bulstrode was handing them out this morning." She flips her hand over, showing the front of a round pin badge. It displayed Cedric's face and 'SUPPORT DIGGORY ' before the face switched to Harry's and 'POTTER STINKS', 2-D Harry then deflating into a puddle.

"Oh no." Neville frowns.

"Yeah, all the Slytherins, except me, are wearing them and some other houses too." Wren says. She throws the badge behind her to be crushed by someone's foot.

Lyra looks around and Wren is right, students of all houses are wearing the badges. It irks her. She spots Millicent cackling with her friends by the fountain and glares their way, taking out her wand and casting a charm.

"Ly, don't-" Neville tries to stop her but the incantation already passed her lips.

Millicent suddenly shrieks as her badge explodes into sparks, her friends' following suit and screaming in fright. Pop! Pop! Pop! The commotion catches everyone's attention, and they take off their badges and throw them to the ground, fearing theirs would do the same.
