TWO YEARS LATER:
Lana, a happily married woman, enjoys her wife Chloe. It's been two years since that fateful night together, and they've had plenty of fun together since then. Today, Lana is sitting around bored, when she hears her phone ring.
"Oh? Who's calling me this time?" Lana wonders, as Chloe perks up.
Picking up the phone, the number seems..... familiar.... To Lana. "Strange" She thought, but she picked up anyways.
"Hello? Is this Lana?" A voice asks.
Lana's eyes widened. "Ashley? Is that you????" She excitedly asks.
Ashley responded, "OH MY GOSH MY LAYYYYYYYYY!!!! HOW ARE YOUUUUUU!!!!"
Lana jumped from the couch in joy. "EEEEEEEEE OMG SHI-SHIIIIII!!!!!!! IT'S BEEN SO LONG!!!! I'VE BEEN DOING WELL, HOW ARE YOUUUUUU??????"
Ashley's voice beams with joy. "I'VE BEEN DOING WELL!! I just got in town, and I was wondering if you would like to come eat at a restaurant with me? Maybe you could bring your wife, so I can meet her!!!" Ashley asks.
Lana was jumping up and down in glee. "OF COURSE, SHI-SHI! What time do you want us over?"
"Well, I was wondering if today sounded like a good time?"
"Oh, of course! Where to?"
"I heard there's a place called 'Hidden Surprises' that was really good. Maybe there?"
"Oooooo, that's my fave spot, Shi-Shi. We'll be there in no time!!"
Lana beamed at Chloe, who was mildly listening to the conversation. She paused her Pokemon shiny hunt. (She was now looking for a Combusken shiny, after finding that Cloyster.) "Do you want me to get ready then?" Chloe asks, getting up.
Lana, still jumping with joy, responded, "Definitely! I'm so excited to see her! It's been so long." Lana practically sprinted to their room, her clothes flying off as she ran.
Chloe, still recovering from Lana's sprint, replied, "Geez, hold up! I'm coming over!" Before sprinting herself.
After 20 minutes of getting ready, Lana and Chloe quickly bolted to the car. On the drive to the restaurant, Lana was giggling excitedly the whole time.
Little did she know what was about to truly happen tonight.
