"Over 100 years ago Earth became unsustainable for the people living in the Northern Hemisphere while the Southern Hemisphere was still able to survive. In the meeting of the United Nations it was decided that the Northern Hemisphere's population was to travel the universe in search of a suitable planet to live on.
On this journey they came across the pertinent planet known to man as Andromeda. The remaining people left on Earth, in the Southern Hemisphere were left to try and restore Earth to its full health and when the task is fully completed they will have to recover the inhabitants of Andromeda and return them back to Earth... or Terra as it is now known.
As the rest of the population are stranded on the planet of Andromeda they have been left to uncover all its secrets. The planet is almost completely covered in land which is divided into two continents: Lyra; where our people now live and Polaris; the uninhabitable, dark side that never sees the sun. It drops to temperatures of around -79•C and no one dare go to that side of the terrain.
Following that the continent of Lyra is divided into seven tracts. Humans or Terras are only allowed in tracts 1, 2 & 3. It is near the ocean and convenient for Terras as they need to be there when the rest of their people return for them to take them home. Also, all resources are in one area, accessible to all people. Tract 7 is ban completely as it is closest to Polaris which is very dangerous for Terras considering its circumstances. All we can hope for now is that the Southern Hemisphere is capable of saving the entire race of Terras." -Prophecy of the UN
