'Where am I?' Ruby thought as she looked around. She put a hand in her pocket and felt a piece of paper in it. 'That wasn't in there before' she thought as she pulled out the paper.

"Dear Ruby Rose. What the fuck brother? This isn't a formal letter it's an explanation letter. Shut up brother. Welcome back to Remnant Ruby, don't worry about fighting Behemoths the only creatures you'll have to fight are Grimm. Your weapons have been customized to fit Remnant's weapon standards and your armors are now hoodies, they're still your armor but like your weapons have been customized. I'm sure you have questions so let me explain, 7 or well 6 years ago as everyone on Remnant knows you disappeared mysteriously and ended up on the Shattered Isles.

There are semblances in Remnant, you have already unlocked yours on the Shattered Isles and evolved it completely.

Take time to readjust to Remnant Ruby, just know you'll have a month before you see your sister again should you be accepted into Beacon. 'Well that was the longest letter I've ever read. I should probably explore and try to find this dust shop that was mentioned in the letter before midnight. It's been a while I barely remember this place and my family I only hope my little memory helps me find this Yang Xiao Long. If I do find her will I even want to talk to her? Maybe I should give myself more time to readjust to Remnant before I talk to her.' Ruby thought as she explored Vale and stopped at a Dust shop reading the magazines in the back.

She was so lost in her thoughts that the magazine wasn't even being read. She was so lost in her thoughts that she didn't realize someone was speaking to her until she felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned around and looked at the person. It was a man dressed in a black and red tuxedo with red sunglasses on his face. "Yes?" Ruby asked. "I said put your hands in the air!" the man said. "Are you...robbing me?" Ruby asked. "YES!" the man said exasperated.

"Oh." Ruby said, nodding. The man only had a fraction of a second to react before Ruby pulled out her repeaters and shot him. The force of the shot sending him flying back into the wall as another man who looked like a copy and pasted version of the first man came from around the corner. He also had a fraction of a second to react before Ruby tackled him out of the window using the recoil of her repeaters. She landed on the ground and immediately put on her quillshot strikers.

"Okay. Get her!" a man dressed in white told the other men with him. One by one in barely half a second they all were knocked out leaving the man in white of the name Roman Torchwick left. "You were worth every cent. Truly, you were." he said as he looked at his fallen lackeys before looking at Ruby. "Well Red it's been fun but I believe this," he pauses as he raises his cane and aims it at Ruby. "Is where we part ways." he finished before firing a burn dust bullet at Ruby and escaping.
