Yeji's pov:

In this world there are three types of people and no, I am not referring to personalities or social classes, I am referring to the only three ways in which you are born, those three types of genders that do not distinguish whether you are a woman or a man.

Alpha, beta and omega.

My brother was an alpha man, but there could also be women, their personalities were strong and extremely territorial when it referred to their loved ones or close people.

If you were an alpha man or woman you were at the top of the chain, everyone owed you respect and sometimes even fear, you had many more freedoms than others and on many occasions, your word was considered true, even when it was not.

If you were a beta man or woman, you were in the middle of both endings, you had the discretion to decide who to be with and what to do, you were not going to be marked by an alpha, you did not have a distinctive smell and no one could break you, although, even so, they owed a certain respect to the alphas.

And well, the last on the list of that stupid chain that was formed cycles ago, those who could be bent and subjugated by an alpha, we, the omega. We did have that stupid distinctive smell that told the alphas who was theirs and even though we didn't want to, we had to accept it and be faithful to them.

Almost like a slave.

That is why I had decided to live my life outside of that regime that our nature dictated to us, being a rebellious and fearless woman, who liked to live life to the fullest and free, even when those things were not allowed to me because I was an omega.

When I was eighteen, I started a band, Lucy and the Blackhearts, with which I had been playing for two years, of course, in clandestine places and seedy bars, since we had not been lucky enough to get money to do better promotions.

But it wasn't until a few months ago that we got a concert in a much better place.

"I can't believe we're going to play in a place like that. Yeji, this is the best!" I heard Lia's voice next to me, who had been my best friend since we were in high school.

She was the one who played the drums, she had a cousin and was a beta, who was in a relationship with another beta, Chaeryeong.

"It's our first time in a place where they're not going to pay us with horrible food, I'm so happy!" Giselle exclaimed, raising her arms in the air and lying on my bed.

While I continued to see the images of the outside of the club.

She was the same age as me, she had arrived from Japan on an exchange two years ago and had become our bassist, after having shown great talent for it. Giselle, like Lia, was a beta, but she was still single by her own decision.

"And what is its name?" I heard Karina's voice, who approached me, putting her chin on my shoulder, to look at the screen. "SRJ? Is the club called that?"

I rolled my eyes and made her move away from me, because her gross alpha smell bothered me. Yes, Karina was an alpha woman, who, in addition to being our second guitarist and backup singer, also had a...

Well, I had forgotten that simple detail. Alpha women had dicks, while omega men had pussies.

I know, it was really weird shit, but that's how this worked and that's why I hated it. This was also an exception for betas. Oh, how I wished I had been one and not some stupid omega.

Anyway, I took a deep breath as I continued looking at the images, realizing that the outskirts of that club were very elegant and refined, nothing like anything we had seen before, with neutral colors and minimalist architecture, which really caught my attention.
