"We don't get to decide. It chooses. It won't stop until it gets what it wants," Lottie replied, grabbing herself a cup so she could drink from it.
Naturally, the others rushed in to stop her before she could potentially kill herself.
"You can't do this," Van quickly protested.
Shauna rushed up to her feet, holding out a hand to stop Lottie from drinking any of it. "Stop, stop, just stop, just, um, put it down."
Lottie reluctantly does so, all while continuing to look up at Shauna.
"If we really want to give it what it's asking for... we have to do it the way we used to," Shauna proposed, causing Suki's stomach to sink. She had a feeling she knew what Shauna meant by that. "We should give it a hunt."
