Laios had been unusually pent-up in the Dungeon. You knew he was under a heavy amount of stress, and, as his partner, you had done everything to soothe him. But nothing worked. The search for Falin was becoming tedious as you all ventured lower into the Dungeon, causing even more stress to settle atop Laios, especially after losing her a second time. And that is what had led you to your position now, somehow separated from the rest of the group on the maze that was level 5. The party had been traversing it, with the immense help of Chilchuck; but a wall had come crashing down, separating you and Laois from the rest with ease. Without the help of the half-foot, who knew if you and Laios could make it through this floor.
Walls that weren't there before disappeared and reappeared at will. And, as you and Laios blindly traversed the floor, you had begun to lose all hope of finding the rest of the party. It had been a few hours now, and you could tell Laios was growing more and more fatigued as his steps started to falter.
"We should rest," You turned to him, "We're too tired to carry on like this,"
Laios swallowed thickly, "But, we have to find the others," He murmured, finally letting go of his firm grip on Kensuke, "getting split up from your party is the worst thing that could happen to you in a Dungeon!"
You looked at him slyly, "Worse than dying?"
He broke into a smile, "Well, that's bad too, I suppose,"
You both giggled, shedding light on the dark situation. You looked over at him again, shocked to see him already staring.
"Everything okay?" You smiled at him softly, his gold eyes getting caught in yours.
He nodded, "It hasn't been just... us for a while now..." He scratched the back of his neck timidly, "I've missed it,"
And before you knew what you were doing, you were leaning into his soft lips and encapsulating them into yours. Laios groaned against your mouth in surprise, his quick hands moving to the small of your back to pull you in further. You deepened the kiss, licking against his lips as he whined into you. You placed your hands on his shoulders and gently pushed him back, causing his back to meet one of the many walls with a soft thud. His mouth split into a grin as you left his lips for air. You huffed softly and fell into his shoulder, breathing in his scent. He lifted a hand from your back and rested it on your head, his thumb caressing back and forth across your skull soothingly. You brought a hand to his chest, cold metal meeting your skin.
"It's hard to get alone time in a Dungeon," You murmured into his shoulder, skilfully moving your hands to the bottom of his chest plate. You moved your head back and pushed the metal up slightly.
Laios startled at your actions, but let you pull his heavy armour off. He clenched his jaw awkwardly.
"This is dangerous..." He raised his arms to allow you to remove the rest of his armour, "What if a monster comes by or... the rest of the party catch us?" He bit his lip anxiously.
You placed his armour softly onto the floor, wrapping your arms around his broad shoulders, "Just relax for me, you deserve it,"
