"I-I am trying, I swear I-I am. I-I don't know w-why, b-but s-she's giving me a r-reason to g-give up. K-kinakaya ko lang for C-cece." Jema sobbed
Naka rinig naman siya ng katok sa pinto
"B-bakit?" Jema said
"Matagal ka pa ba? I'll use the bathroom downstairs nalang" Sambit ni Ella
"I-I'm sorry...S-sige you go downstairs nalang, Ells"Sagot ni Jema
Jema did not hear a reply from Ella kaya napa buntong hininga nalang siya
Bigla naman siyang naka ramdam ng hilo at sakit ng ulo
She sat down on the tiles for a seconds
"K-kaya ko to, B-bawal ka ma stress Jema. F-for the sake of the b-baby" Sambit ni Jema
She's trying not to tear up
"I-I'm sorry, baby. I-I'm sorry kung m-magulo yung buhay ni m-mommy. S-sana...S-sana hindi nalang ako n-nagising. A-ang hirap, n-nahihirapan din naman a-ako ah" Jema sobbed
Jema closed her eyes
"K-kailan b-ba to titigil? m-make this stop please" Jema begged
"Are you okay?You look pale, gusto mo mag check up tayo right now?" Sambit ni Ella
Jema just gave her a small smile
"I-I'm fine, Ells. K-kain ka lang diyan. Cece, you eat na din anak" Sagot ni Jema
"Ayu okay mommy? I can be a doctow po" Sambit ni Cecilia
Jema gave her a small smile
"I'm good,anak. sige na finish your food na my big girl" Jema replied
"Oo nga pala, next week na yung birthday nila Cece and Caleb. What should we do?" Ella said
"We could throw a children's party for the both of them. We'll visit him sa cemetery, I want to see him. He is still my son after all" sagot ni Jema
Ella held her hand
"Salamat, salamat sa pag subok ulit Jema. Let's just get things slow" Sambit ni Ella
Jema gave her a small smile bago tumango
"Bes! ano na, one month pregnant ka na pala ah. Congrats bes" Sambit ni Kyla
Jema smiled, a small smile
"Okay ka lang? bat parang...Parang malungkot ka?" Kyla asked
"I-I don't know..." Jema said
Niyakap naman siya ni Kyla kaya tuluyan na siyang napa iyak
"Bes, bat ka ba umiiyak?" Kyla asked
Hindi naman sumagot si Jema
Her head was also hurting, and her vision became blurry
"b-bes...A-ang sakit..a-ang" Jema suddenly passed out
"Jema!" Kyla panicked and quickly called Jia
"So itutuloy mo talaga? You and your decisions. Baka di mo namamalayan na nasasaktan mo na pala si Jema dahil sa mga desisyon mo. Shes
is trying, Ella. Pwedeng, pwedeng wag ka namang mag bulag bulagan?" Sambit ni Alyssa
Hindi naman maka sagot si Ella
And then Ella's phone rang
It was Jia who called
"Hello—"
[Ate, punta ka sa hospital! bilis, s-si Jema...a-ate]
Ella quickly ended the call
"Besh, s-si J-jema" Sambit ni Ella
"T-teka bakit, anong nangyari?" Alysa asked
"T-tara sa h-hospital"sagot ni Ella
"I'm sorry, but Mrs. De Jesus had a miscarriage. We need to observe her and pa ct scan na rin yung head niya. There might be some injuries. Or yung injury niya before" Sambit ni ng doctor
Ella slowly nodded
She held her hand
"L-love, I-im sorry... I-I'm here" Ella whispered
"Ate, uuwi muna ako... I'll take care of Cece muna" sambit ni Jia
tumango naman si Ella
Jia Tapped Ella and Alyssa's shoulders bago umalis
"Ano, itutuloy mo pa ba yung annulment mo? Lok at this, She is suffering too! You better fix this, Ella. Ayokong malaman ulit to ng papa ni Jema, tapos ipag layo nanaman kayo" Sambit ni Alyssa
Ella heaved a sigh at hindi na pinansin si Alyssa
"I will stay, okay? w-walang annulment ang mangyayari. A-ako, i-ikaw, Cece, Caleb, and our l-little one. Tayong lima lang hanggang dulo" Ella said
"Lalabas ako, your dad's calling me" pagpapa alam ni Alyssa
Ella slowly nodded
"I'm here, Ilalaban mo to ha? I know it's painful, kasi we lost another baby. But I'll still stay" Sambit ni Ella
