If you dance, I'll dance

And if you don't, I'll dance anyway

Getting inside the college was even more awkward than Raghav could've imagined.

Walking inside alone, looking at all the people catching up with their friends due to the long break after the last semester, he hoped that he had somebody to walk with him right now.

Even though nobody paid much attention to him, his social anxiety screamed that he was looking like a loner.

He just ignored all the commotion and got into his first class of the day, Investigative Journalism.

He settled himself on a table at the corner and took out his favorite book from his bag to read it.

After a few minutes, people started to fill up inside the class and chatters filled the lecture room.

He looked up from his book to look around the class and saw various type of people.

Some were sleeping with their heads propped on the tables, some looked like they were forced to come out of bed, he even saw a few girls looking at him and when he looked at them they looked away and started giggling.

Weirdos.

His eyes moved over to a pretty girl in a blue kurti with a nose ring who seemingly got along with everyone.

She was smiling and talking to a group of people who seemed to like her a lot.

Extroverts. He commented in his mind and tore his eyes away from her, focusing back on the book.

Roohi was talking to a girl of her class as they settled down on a bench. The girl, Amrita, wasn't her friend but they knew each other.

Roohi knew almost everyone in this university so it wasn't a surprise.

Her eyes flickered over to an unfamiliar boy in a blue jacket who was sitting on a corner bench, reading a book with his full focus.

Pride and Prejudice.

"Is he new here?" She asked Amrita, who was the literal gossip queen of this campus.

"Yup, His name is Raghav Singhania, shifted from Bangalore recently." Amrita said with a smile.

"How do you know everything about everyone?" Roohi asked, bewildered by the new found information.

"I'm friends with the receptionist, she has the data about everyone." Amrita winked and Roohi shook her head sarcastically.

Soon the teacher came inside the classroom, Mrs. Sharma. She was probably the strictest and the most straight-forward teacher of this whole university.

So strict that she will deduct almost all the internals if you are late to submit a single project.

"Good Morning Students." She spoke sternly. Mrs. Sharma was a short woman who always wore a dark red lipstick and a small golden bindi on her forehead. Her hair were always tied in a slick bun and her eyes were always judging the students.

"Almost all of you are familiar with me except for the new admissions but...let me tell you that this year would not be a piece of cake." She spoke sternly and started explaining the basics about this year.

Roohi listened to her, focused while the girl beside her was snoring while sleeping.

"So, I want you all to create a class presentation about a case report, and your thoughts about it. I need proof, people's thoughts, examples and a lot more. Don't give a blank document." The students wrote down the project details.
