Aisha and Amara were standing behind the royal couch while Zain came and stood in front of the couch. Elders were busy with Omar and Aliya as the atmosphere was all fun and of happiness, when Aisha's voice caught everyone's attention.
"Ahem, Zain. I guess you've something, that doesn't belong to you" Aisha said with an intense gaze.
"Uh, Me? What?" Zain asked feigning innocence.
"Don't be so coy. Give us the shoe of Omar bhai jaan" Aisha demanded while crossing her arms.
"Not that easy, Miss" Zain said with a wink not knowing he added fire in devil's veins.
"This tradition is by Bride's sister. Are you girl?" Aisha giggled followed by Amara.
"You'll say this to Aaraiz Bhai jaan also, if he was here?" Zain asked with a smirk.
"Aisha why don't you come to my side for sometime? Let Aira and Amara be on Omar's side"
Aisha pretended to thought for a while before quickly changing her place. As she was about to stand beside Zain, she stumbled but Zain was quick enough to hold her arm. Aisha's cheeks burned with embarrassment as she stood straight.
Zain, with a teasing tone, whispered in her ear. "Be careful, Miss clumsy and...don't forget to write about this specialty in your "'How to be a clumsy af' book"
Aisha glared at him before turning to Amara and Aira. "So, Mr. not-so-handsome, How many money you want?"
Zain, controlling his laugh at Aisha's words, replied. "Um.. how about thirty thousand?"
Amara and Aira's eyes widen hearing the amount of money. "What are you serious? fifty thousand for a pair of shoes?"
"Well, well, well. They aren't just a shoes. They're the shoes that will walk with our bhai jaan to his new life. They're priceless, really."
Aisha pretended to think for a while. "You drive a hard bargain. But how about this—twenty thousand, and I'll throw in some chocolate?"
Aira pretended to consider the offer, then shook her head. "Hmm... tempting, but no. Fifty thousand or no deal."
Zain smirked, knowing they wouldn't back down. "Alright, how about a little game? If I win, you hand over the shoes, and if you win, you get your fifty thousand."
Amara, intrigued, asked, "What kind of game?"
Zain grinned. "Simple. You two have to guess what's in my pocket. If you guess right, you win."
Aira narrowed her eyes playfully. "And if we guess wrong?"
"Then you'll pay the amount we want" Zain said with a mischievous glint in his eye.
Aira and Amara exchanged looks again, clearly up for the challenge. "Deal!" they said in unison.
Zain reached into his pocket and pulled out a small object, keeping it hidden in his fist. "Alright, go ahead. Make your guesses."
Aira leaned in, trying to peer into his hand. "Hmm... I think it's a pen."
Zain shook his head, his grin widening. "Wrong."
Amara squinted, trying to think of something clever. "A key?"
"Wrong again," Zain said, enjoying the moment.
The cousins huddled together, whispering furiously. Finally, Aira turned back to Zain, her eyes gleaming with confidence. "It's a coin, isn't it?"
Zain slowly opened his hand, revealing... a tiny folded piece of paper.
