As the hand on my arm tightened its grip, I gasped and closed my eyes, a tear escaping and trailing down my cheek from the fear gripping me. The voice whispered in my ear once more, "Do you understand me?"
I nodded, keeping my eyes closed, not wanting to comprehend the full scope of the situation, knowing it would terrify me even more. My hands curled into fists, a futile attempt to relieve some of the stress. Niragi started walking, his grip firm, one hand over my mouth, the gun pressing into my back, urging me forward.
I made a huge mistake by opening my eyes, realizing we were heading towards his room.
"Where-" I began to mutter against his hand.
"Shut the fuck up!" he barked loudly in my ear, sending a shiver of dread through my body. His voice was a harsh, cold warning that silenced me immediately.
As we moved through the hallways, my mind raced. What did he want? How was I going to get out of this? I glanced around desperately, hoping to catch sight of someone, anyone, who might help. But the corridors were empty, and each step brought me closer to Niragi's room, and further from safety.
Finally, we reached his door. He pushed it open roughly, shoving me inside. The door slammed shut behind us, the sound echoing ominously in the small space. He released me, but the gun stayed trained on me, his eyes gleaming with a dangerous light.
"Now, you're going to listen to me very carefully," he said, his voice low and menacing. "You're going to do exactly what I say, or things are going to get very unpleasant for you."
I stood there, trembling, my mind scrambling for a way out. But with Niragi, there was no telling what he might do next. All I could do was hope for an opportunity to escape, and pray that someone would notice my absence before it was too late.
The grip on my arm tightened, sending a chill down my spine. Tears welled up in my eyes as fear consumed me. A voice whispered close to my ear, filled with menace, "Do you understand me?"
I nodded silently, eyes shut tight, afraid of what might come next. My hands clenched into fists, trying to find some semblance of control, but it was futile. Niragi's hand covered my mouth as he pushed me forward, the cold barrel of a gun pressed into my back, urging me onward.
We moved down the hallway, his grip firm and unyielding. A scary feeling went deeply in my skin as we approached his room. "Where..." I mumbled under his hand, my words muffled and desperate.
"Shut up!" His voice was harsh, a stark reminder of my vulnerability.
He directed me to a chair positioned in the center of his room. "Sit," he commanded, and I complied, my legs trembling as I settled into the seat. With swift movements, he bound my wrists behind the chair and secured my ankles to its legs. A cloth was pressed against my mouth, stifling any protest.
"Now, where should we start?" Niragi's voice dripped with malice as he produced a pocket knife, its blade slowly pressing against my neck.
Suddenly, the door burst open, and a militiaman stood in the doorway. "Niragi, there's a meeting. Hatter just returned from the games," he announced calmly, a hint of amusement in his voice as he noticed my plight.
Niragi cursed under his breath. "Don't worry, princess. I'll be back for you right after the meeting," he taunted before leaving and locking the door behind him with an ominous click.
Alone in the room, tears streamed down my face, soaking my shirt. Fear and helplessness enveloped me, and I could do nothing but wait, hoping for a chance to escape this nightmare.
