"Rachel, you seem a bit scared, perhaps understandably so given the eerie atmosphere of this place. It's only natural to feel a bit uneasy in such a spooky setting. But rest assured, I am indeed your doctor. You can trust me to guide you through this unsettling experience, okay?"

As if wanting to offer her reassurance, Danny kindly smiles at her in a gentle manner, trying to convey a sense of comfort and understanding through his warm expression.

...I feel as if during our sessions, he would always smile at me like this, too...

"...Okay, doctor."

As she faintly remembers that smiling face, a flood of bittersweet memories rush back to Ray's mind, causing a wave of nostalgia to wash over her. For an instant, it feels as if the weight of her emotions is almost too much to bear, and a sense of overwhelming vulnerability envelopes her. A deep, haunting ache forms in her chest, intensifying with each passing heartbeat. In that fleeting moment of turmoil, she finally turns to Danny, meeting his gaze with the same hollow expression she wore when she first awoke from her slumber.

"Ah, you've remembered me. And...it's good you're all right. You're smart, though, so I figured you would make it this far." Danny sinks into silence. His expression morphs into one of severe brooding as he stares into her tranquil blue eyes.

"Excuse me, Doctor," Ray said, studying the doctor's face intently, unable to shake off the suspicion creeping into her mind. Prompted by her growing uncertainty, she finally voiced the question that had been nagging at her: "Why are you here?"

"I...before I realised it, I found myself here. I can't find the exit, you see, and I've been here for quite a while...but there's no one else here on this floor except for me anymore."

After carefully considering her question, Danny finally responds with a thoughtful answer. He pauses for a moment, gathering his thoughts before articulating his thoughts in a calm and composed manner.

No one else...

Ayanokoji-kun mentioned that there is a serial killer lurking on every floor. Strangely, aside from the mysterious Dr. Danny, no one else seems to be present. This prompts the question: where could the elusive serial killer be hiding?

Thinking back on it, there had been no one on B7, either - and B6 had only housed that grim reaper-like man.

"You know, doctor, I'm really scared...I was even chased by something earlier, too... What is this place...?" Ray asks, her small shoulders shaking. That insane laughter still reverberates through her ears. It had sounded like something out of some terrifying movie.

"Rachel, the one who was chasing you was most likely...a serial killer. This place is undeniably ominous; it feels like a sinister playground for them. The murderers delight in the pursuit, preying on and extinguishing anyone they apprehend... It's a disturbing ritual where the hunted are known as sacrificial offerings. The atmosphere reeks of malevolence, each corner hiding a potential danger that lurks eagerly, waiting to pounce on unsuspecting victims."

"...Sacrifices?" Ray recalls the ayanokoji words she had been told by ayanokoji also in the elevator when she had been going up to B6. Even though she hadn't heard it properly due to the mechanical hum of the elevator, the word echoed in her mind, resonating with a mysterious familiarity that piqued her curiosity. The notion of sacrifices lingered in her thoughts, adding an enigmatic layer to her already complex understanding of the situation.

"I don't really know the details, either. Anyway - let's go. If possible, I'd like to survive this place with you." Danny takes the girl's slightly cold hand and smiles gently at her.

Is Doctor a sacrifice...too?

"I can't leave just yet; I must wait patiently for Ayanokoji to arrive before we can proceed with our plans."
