baby steps. The next morning my dad was driving me to school. He parked the car in the faculty parking lot and I got out and started to head inside.
"Have a good day, sweetheart!" He said.
"Uh-huh." I said.
"Oh, and Y/n...
I stopped in my tracks.
"try to make some friends." My father finished.
I walked into Karasuno and straight to my first class. I took a seat and slid my headphones over my ears, enjoying the quiet peace of the empty classroom.
RING!! The bell rung and students started to pile into the classroom. Eventually I noticed the green-haired boy, Yamaguchi walk into class with the same blonde-haired boy from yesterday. His words from yesterday evening came back to mind,
"N-nevermind. I'm s-sorry. I just wanted-d to be friends with you. And it's Tadashi Yamaguchi."
I look over to see Yamaguchi seated at his desk and then I look forward at the board as I tried to pay attention to the teacher's lecture, but his words lingered in my head all class period.

My first few classes came to an end and It was now lunch. I slung my bag around shoulder as I saw Yamaguchi leaving with the blonde boy. I had the thought to go talk to him and apologize for yesterday, but I just couldn't.
I walked out of class and up the stairs to the rooftop. I sat down and open my lunch as well as I took out Yamaguchi's notebook and copied his notes into my own notebook.
"His notes are actually really good."
After I finished copying his notes I put both away in my bag and I finished my lunch. The moment the bell rang I closed my lunch box and put it back in my bag. I stood back up and headed back to class.
The rest of the day was boring like usual. Nothing but notes and lectures, but it was finally over. The bell had just rung signaling the end of the day. I was packing up my stuff when I decided to finally give someone a chance.
"Oh, and Y/n... try to make some friends."
"N-nevermind. I'm s-sorry. I just wanted-d to be friends with you. And it's Tadashi Yamaguchi." He said.
I rolled my eyes and sighed,"I'll never know until I try, right?" I really didn't want todo this, but my dad was actually right, I looked over to see Yamaguchi still packing his things.
"Well... there's noone else in here. So, I guess it's fine."
I slung my bag around my shoulder and walked towards Yamaguchi,"Yamaguchi-san."
The boy looked my way as I could see him squirm,"uh...L/n-san?"
I stood in front of him,"here's your notes back. Thanks."
