Blood stains are not easy to get out of carpet.
Even after soaking the ground with tears and dish soap, not a shade of red was removed from the white carpet. Walking over to the front door, Taylor says, " I guess its time to relocate the door mat." She lifts the warn out mat and moves it to the middle of the room. Though it looked totally out of place, the couldn't do anything about it.
Without another word, Taylor walks back to training room, grabs a IMI Desert Eagle from the closet, and shoots the human target until the gun goes blank. She lets the gun gracefully slide out of her hands. After a couple seconds, she lets her knees give way and tumbles to the ground. She grabs her knees and brings the close to her chest.
"This is real."
"This is not a game."
None of these constant reminders from her parents meant anything to her till now. It used to be just shooting targets, now she might have to shoot people. It used to be making holes in paper, now it will be shooting holes into flesh and bone. Tears start seeping out of Taylor's eyes and soaked the floor.
In the 20 minutes of Taylor laying on the floor, she decided something for herself, for once.
She would never kill a human being.
