𝓢ydney was having a brilliant day. The Melbourne sun was shining, and the weather was perfect.

She walked into her favorite coffee shop, where she was a regular. She got into the queue and ordered her usual as soon as she reached the counter. weirdly enough, a person standing right next to her, had ordered the exact same drink. Sydney turned to the other side to see a man, a bit taller than her but looked the same age, waiting for his drink.

He turned around at the same time she did and looked at her. "Wait a minute, you ordered the exact same drink as me? In a medium too?" He asked her. "Yup, that was exactly what I was thinking too."

"So, what's your name?" He asked. "Sydney, you?" She told him as the two of them proceeded to sit at the same table. "Oscar."

The two of them kept chatting for about a half an hour or so. Sydney felt like she had met the male version of her and was screaming internally. He was perfect. "Wait, what's your all-time favourite comfort movie?" She asked him. "Hmm, i have multiple favourite movies, but definitely not a comfort one." He replied. "Oh my god. How can you not have a comfort movie? I have like 20. I absolutely adore watching The Notebook with a big-ass tub of cookie dough ice cream but I also love screaming to the soundtrack of Mamma Mia with my best friend." She got super excited and started listing down all of her favourite movies of all time.

Oscar was starstruck. She looks so pretty while talking, he thought. It was like an angel had appeared right in front of him. "Oscar? are you okay, why are you smiling at me like that?" she asked him as her face turned a shade of pink. "Nothing, just admiring how pretty you are." He smoothly replied. Sydney started nervously giggling. She had noticed oscar looking at her like that and just couldn't handle it. How could such a guy be sitting in front of her like that? Was she even good enough for him? What was she even doing sitting here, blushing like an idiot? He would probably get bored of her, like Michael.

"I'm sorry Oscar, but I think I'm running late for an appointment. I'm so sorry, we should really meet again, though." She said as she grabbed her drink and her bag and exited the shop, without even giving him enough time to process what just happened.
