i wake up the next morning with a brutal headache i grab my phone and text matt

i yawn and get out of bed getting ready for my day and hopping in the shower and putting on my typical summer outfit, jean shorts with a top. i go over to the sturniolos home to hang out with matt and nick because they insisted i shouldn't be alone with this bad of a hangover. i go over and see chris in the living room, i sigh and walk past.

" yo bella wait up " he says catching up to me

" what do you want chris. " i say annoyed

" are you mad? " he asks

" are you kidding , of course i am. you called me bitchy at dinner yesterday. that was low, even for you. " i say

" was helping you home after you drank your feelings away not enough?? " he says

" matt took me home stop playing wannabe hero. it's not a good look " i say walking off

" is that what he seriously told you? " he laughs " what an asshole "

" he didn't take you home, i did okay? "
chris says

" no way. matt wouldn't lie to me. " i say

" well he did, don't believe me though. i don't care " he says annoyed

" and by the way bella, i truly am sorry about yesterday okay? " he says seeming truly sincere

i sigh and walk up to matt's room

" hey " he says simply

" is chris the one who took me home last night? he told me he did but he's bluffing right? right??? " i ask matt hoping for reassurance that chris was lying

matt looks at me seriously

" i was catching up with dylan, and chris saw you drinking a lot and yes, he took you home. please don't be mad i know you wanted nothing to do with him last night and i'm sorry " he sighs

" im not mad, i just wish you had been honest. " i say

matt nods and nick walks into the room

" okay so you were insanely drunk last night " nick says laughing

" how bad was i " i groan

" you were suggesting everyone goes skinny dipping and hysterically sobbing because you remembered derek shepherd died in greys anatomy " nick smiles trying not to laugh
