The date: The arcade.

Arriving at the arcade, Tobi parked his car and took a deep breath. He glanced at the bag of chocolates and flowers, his hands trembling slightly. He reminded himself that he had chosen them with Aj's preferences in mind, hoping to show him that he had paid attention to the things he enjoyed. Stepping into the quite busy arcade, Tobi looked around for a familiar face. The vibrant lights and the mixture of sounds created an atmosphere of excitement and fun. He found a cozy spot near a row of arcade cabinets, where he could see the entrance, and anxiously waited for AJ to arrive. As minutes ticked by, Tobi's mind began to wander to worst-case scenarios. What if Ayaanle didn't like the gifts? What if he found them too ordinary or thought he was trying too hard? The uncertainties threatened to overwhelm him.

Driving up to the arcade, Ayaanle felt nervous and hoped the date he picked wouldn't disappoint the significant other. He checked his surroundings before grabbing his jacket. Exiting his car, AJ walked closer to the building, eventually entering the busy room. Noticing a familiar face, he smiled softly while walking towards him. "Tobi!" He spoke happily, understanding his nervousness shown through his face. Not only the nervousness was observed, but the gifts in his hand. "Wait...are these for me?" He inquired, feeling his face swell into a bigger smile as he understood the thought that went into his arrival.

Tobi's heart skipped a beat as he saw AJ approaching him, his smile lighting up the room. The shorter males presence alone eased his nerves, and he couldn't help but return his smile with equal warmth. "Hey, AJ!" Tobi replied, his voice filled with genuine happiness. "Yeah, these are for you. I wanted to bring you something special to show you how much I appreciate this date. I hope you like them." He quickly held the bag of chocolates and the bouquet out towards the boy, his eyes flickering with anticipation. The doubt that had once plagued him now faded away, replaced by a sense of excitement and hope.

AJ quickly accepted the gifts and observed the attention to detail, his favorite chocolates and favorite flowers. "Awww, Tobi, I love them. Thank you, I'm happy you're here with me." He looked at him with endearment and admiration. "I know it might be childish to you but, I decided we should go on an arcade date. I know you are a bit competitive and very versatile with your skills so, I thought you'd like to play some games here, get some food here and possibly get some ice cream afterwards." He expressed, slightly doubting the idea as he said it. All the 'What if's' started to fill his mind as he waited for him to respond, hoping for him to be happy and not think that it wasn't thoughtful or romantic enough. He had already stepped out of his comfort by even trying to express his feelings for the other, let alone planning a date that may not make the other happy.

Tobi's eyes lit up with a mixture of surprise and delight as he listened to AJ's words. He couldn't help but feel a surge of affection towards him for taking the time to plan such a thoughtful date. "AJ, this is amazing my love." Tobi replied, his voice filled with genuine excitement. "I love the idea of an arcade date. It's not childish at all; it's actually really fun and unique. And maybe you are a bit right on the competitive part." He said while jokingly rolling his eyes at him.

"I'm happy you are excited, and I'm glad to have brought you happiness. Now, I'm about to beat yo ass in some games." AJ joked, looking down at his hand holding the older males. All the possible doubts immediately left and excited filled his spirit. He enjoyed the look on his face, the surprise, the joy, the pure admiration towards him. Fueled by the sincerity and happiness of his words towards him, showing the message was across and appreciated, AJ continued to speak. "Since you got here first, you can pick the first few games that i'll beat you in, obviously." He stated with an ounce of sarcasm and joking in his voice. AJ grabbed his hand, intertwining his fingers to the others, and waited patiently for guidance from the slightly competitive but joyful male. AJ stepped out of his comfort zone to make him feel happy, and it was working. In fact, AJ felt joyful with him.
