"Sleep with me?" Krish's eyes widened in amusement, he wanted to giggle like a schoolgirl. He knew she couldn't have meant sexually, but he was still ecstatic that she wanted to share their bed together again. Gently, he brought his hand to the back of her head, burying it in her long black tresses. Embracing her tightly he consciously felt every part of his body against hers. The way their bodies always fit together overwhelmed him. The thought of more happening between them was enough to bring excitement to other parts of him. In a rush, he pulled away from her. The last thing he wanted to do was run her off because he was getting hard, Especially after tonight's events. It wouldn't make a good impression on his wife.

"Not s-sleep with you! I mean next to you!.... Not touching. I'm still shaken up that's all." Jiya clarified through stuttered lips. She was nervous about this, her stomach felt like it had a pit in it. Was she making a mistake? All she knew was that Krish might have been a dangerous man, but he wanted nothing more than to protect her. Right now she wanted to be protected. The best way she could do that was by being by his side.

"I know what you meant." Krish laughed at her shyness.

"You don't have to ever ask to sleep next to me. Ok?" Krish smirked as he placed his hands on her shoulders, meeting her at eye level. Her green eyes gleamed with innocence into his serious brown ones. Without any words, she nodded in understanding. Silently, she went to her side of the bed laying down and trying to get comfortable. It wasn't hard for her to relax. Her body melted into the cozy bed instantly. She wasted no time piling up pillows in between her side and his own. Krish scoffed at the action. Crossing his arms as he watched her build a cushioned fence to keep him out and away.

"You can't be serious." Krish groaned out in annoyance.

"I'm very serious. You might try something like last time." Jiya responded in her defense. Waking up in his arms was something she didn't plan for. She wanted to prevent it from happening again. Every time he was against her, her body would start a riot against her will. She didn't like not having control over how he physically made her feel. Having no memory of her past was bad enough. The woman wanted to at least have control of one thing in her present life.

"I didn't do anything last time. You came on to ME." Krish huffed in frustration as he got on his side of the bed. Why was he being punished for what she had willingly done? He didn't know why she didn't believe him. He thought the pillow wall between them was stupid and childish. Wasn't he supposed to be getting her to fall in love with him? It wasn't easy making her fall in love with him the first time. He could see this time around would be even harder. What a damn stubborn woman she was. Something Krish loved and hated about her. Right now, he hated it.

"I still don't believe that. Just go to sleep." Jiya strongly insisted. She giggled to herself evilly pulling most of the bed covering over her body leaving Krish little to none, and cold. Again he groaned but didn't fight her. She could have her way now because he knew, just like before she'd be the one all over him as the night went on. Krish turned off the light that illuminated their bedroom. It was pitch dark now. Just acute light from the moon that shined from their bedroom balcony. It took a while for Krish to fall asleep. He had counted his blessings over and over. Thankful that his biggest one was still next to him. Snoring loud but peacefully..... For that, he smiled and was grateful. Eventually, sleep overtook him.

Hours had gone by... Jiya yawned opening her eyes slowly. Her throat was dry, she could use a drink of water. Opening her eyes, the woman found herself lying against her husband's chest. His eyes were closed and his mouth was slightly open, as slumberous sighs slipped from his lips. 'What the hell happened to the pillows?' She thought to herself freely. She couldn't turn her head to investigate what could have happened to them. She could barely lift her head with the way Krish held her. One of his arms spanned the length of her back, it was muscularly flexed as if to keep her from leaving his side. His hand laid on her rear end selfishly gripping it in his palm. Trying to leave his embrace was a task. No matter how hard she tried the man rarely budged. He held her closer. Tighter.
