My name is Layla rose duchannes. I just came here to ravenwood ,I can't say exactly were I'm from because I'm always going places ,I came to ravenwood because my father left when I was young and my mother recently found out there was no cure for her cancer and well....neadless to say she died,now before you go pitying me just know that I'm doing fine and I've already accepted it I Mean yeha she was my mother but she never really was in a way I never saw her and we never really talked it was like living with a stranger.i guess it was better than nothing. Im living with my grandfather since I obviously am kind of an orphan now.first day of school supposed to be fun right? Not exactly .I woke up like every other person does and put on some jeans and an old black Hoodie with Sana cruz written on it and then I decided after a heated debate with my self to put on some eyeliner to look like at least tried to care about school and my appearance I looked in the mirror and for the first time in a while i looked like someone I knew and not a mess like i usually was.i brushed my golden brown colored hair.i had the same haircut for a year I had bangs down to my chin and my hair was brushed to the side like it normally was,I was shocked to see my eyes still light blue ,I never really paid attention to much of my face though because I didn't want to be like those premaddona girls you saw at school all primped up and ready to rule the school.i grabbed my blue jansport backpack full of school books and stuff and walked out the door. It was freshman year. walked to the bus stop , the sky was grey and it was raining , i finally got on.i hated the bus you had the good kids in front geeks in the middle and the cool people ,I never quite got how the geeks always tried to sit in the back with the cool kids when they almost always would get rejected.me being the person I am decided to sit in the front because obviously no one scoots the hell over,which is really annoying considering the fact that other people pay to go on the bus too.when I got to school I waited 10 minutes before the bell rang.my day went pretty normal except that everyone was staring at me.at lunch I got pizza which was pretty much the only thing they served I walked over to the lunch tables not quite sure we're to sit when a girl came up to me and said to me "you look lost , sit with me" it was weird but better than being a loner so I said "um...okay her name was taylor and she was weird and excited alot and was kind of a girly girl ,which was pretty nice since everyone was with someone else and I was alone and that she was different a good different that is. Taylor had bangs that were short but not that short she also had this light brown hair color that was kinda a Sandy brown color and she had blue eyes like me except hers were like the ocean ,dark blue.later on in the day I saw one of my best friends gabby I'd known her since I think 3rd grade when a girl we knew introduced us ever since then we were hooked.gabby was a tomboy and always seems to me like she could be a country girl.gabby has long brown wavy hair and has freckles and blue eyes like Taylor's . I liked gabbys freckles not many people i know have them and it makes her unique. I got on the bus after school it was still raining and grey. When I got off the bus there was a boy who I didn't notice before he had brown hair and green eyes that were absolutely goregous. ..I was obsessed with green eyes I wanted them so bad. He looked like a jock which made me back up . I started walking ,he went up next to me and said"you always like getting soaked in the rain?" "No but it's not like i have a choice" I said then he said "how far do you walk?" "Pretty far" I said wondering why I was talking to a jock "pretty girl stuck in the rain? That should be a crime" he said
"Lots of things should be crimes" i said a car honked and he said "I got to go but i would like to see you agian" and with that he walked over and got in the car that honked a while ago ....when I got to my house I realized that he lived next door since i saw the car. My window was open I was reading when I looked out I saw him with his window open too he was listening to music I yelled "are you serious!?" He looked up and smiled and said "what?" "You live next door!" "Well look at that.....imma come over!" "Ugh" I said he knocked on the door and I opend it and said "you seriously came over?" I let him in and we went upstairs and sat down on the floor "I know what people say about you they say your just bad news and a creep but i want your to know I'm not like them ...by the way my name is Ethan wates" "I'm Layla duchannes" "do your know what your name means?" Ethan asked "no" I said "dark beauty....it suits you in a way" he said ...after that we just talked and talked for hours and got phone numbers it was late and he fell asleep and so did I when I woke up I realized that it was 1 In the morning ...I didn't want to wake him up...grandpa was away for a week so we were alone....in the morning I got dressed in the bathroom and woke him up he smiled and said "I like you better without the hoodie" I looked at what I was wearing which was faded shorts and a grey shirt with gold on it and combat boots. My hair was brushed. We made pancakes and after he went home changed and then we went on the bus and sat next to eachother and laughed the whole way .....everyone stared at us when we walked into school....and it turns out he has all of my classes...later at lunch I was sitting with taylor when she told me that ethen was the most populer boy in school. I was sort of suprised he walked over and sat down and we talked and laughed And everything else just went away I even forgot he was populer and all that and then he asked me to spring formal and I said yes and that's what pretty much happend everyday until spring formal.then i felt stupid because I didn't have a dress.i called taylor and we went shopping and I got a white dress that had lace at the top and short sleeves that were made of lace as well and showed my shoulders . I curled my hair and put little white flowers in my hair and decided to just do a natral make up. He knocked on the door and I opend it he gave me this look "what?" I said "...you're beautiful " he said and then he took my hand and he drove me to spring formal. On the way we sang horribly to taylor swift.when we got there I went up to taylor and said hi and I saw gabby and she joined and I said hi to her.later on a slow song came on and the dj told people to grab somone they loved and then out of nowhere Ethan grabbed my hand and walked me to the middle of the dance floor and then we danced and we were so close I thought I might go crazy being this close to the best person in the world. Then after we went outside to this little dome thing that had lights and we were standing there and he held me close and said "is it bad that i love you?" I laughed and said "not at all" and it went like that up until the last day of sinior year.

If you guys want more or want me to add anything to the second part that will be coming out soon let me know and yes its kind of like a Cinderella story but you never know it could change into some thing else anyway this is my first part and it might not be that good but give me suggestions for another book to write too. And as for the song it's about Layla from Ethan
