(Russia's POV)
After the conversation with Moldova and Georgia, I waved them goodbye so I could finish up with the work and my duties for the day so I could have some free time for myself. I helped a few maids sweep around as I kept my eyes peeled for any more trouble that could possibly happen.
I couldn't say I wasn't scared because I was. Multiple of my siblings had already been attacked and if this continues, there's no doubt I'll be next and I want this position as king just as much as any of my siblings do.
I knew I shouldn't worry too much as long as I kept my eyes peeled. Once we get rid of this traitor person, I'll have better chances at getting my way.
Me, Moldova, and Georgia split up who we had to spy on. I had around 10 guards I had to keep an eye on and overall, I think I already have a few people checked off my list due to what the guards had to do during the day.
Four of them had jobs where they they couldn't possibly have anything to do with the crisis happening in the kingdom. For example, two of the guards I had checked off my list stay outside during the day protecting the kingdom and the other two guards that I checked off my list rotate with the other two guards to guard the kingdom during the night time.
To be completely serious, I think this whole thing is gonna be very easy. All me and Moldova had to do was keep a watch on the guards while Georgia kept an eye on our siblings since she was hidden from the public and she considered herself more "sneaky" than us, so we just decided that she could keep an eye on them while we took the easy task.
That really didn't stop me from keeping an eye on our siblings when I had the time though. I started my own little secret chart to keep track of everyone I needed to make sure wasn't doing anything suspicious.
Looking over the data for a while, I felt like some things didn't really add up. Were we missing something?
Although our father had a lot of children, a lot of the people who were actually participating in the route to become the ruler of Tridomy had already been crossed off. Our other siblings were much too young to even become a king or queen so they were immediately crossed off when we discussed about it yesterday.
I looked on the chart who I should keep track of and it came down to three different siblings.
Armenia, Belarus, and Lithuania.
Just thinking about them made me realize how distant this whole thing has made me from every single one of my siblings. I remember our family being so united before all this. I really do miss it.
All I can remember is Belarus giving me a heads up not even twenty minutes after our father had left the news.
I walked over to the living room and sat down on the couch, reading a book as I was finished doing my chores for the day. A little breather felt nice for once, being a prince of kingdom was not for the weak and being able to sit back, reading a book felt quite nice.
About ten minutes into my book, I heard Estonias steps coming toward me as he sat down right beside me and put on his favorite show.
He didn't say anything for a while until he turned his head to look my way.
"How are you Russia?" He leaned further back on the couch to see what I was reading
"Well.. I guess I'm fine. I appreciate you for asking." I looked up from my book and gave him a small grin before looking back down to my book
"You know, I'm really sorry about all the trouble I caused you and all our siblings a few days before. Latvia is really important to me, I hope you understand." He looked down to his finger nails that he was picking at. His apology felt genuine and it brought back the grin I just had. "It's alright Estonia, I know you meant well. These past few days has brought out the worst out of all of us."
