Everyone took after school activities now, sitting in their club rooms and doing whatever they had to. But, one girl stayed in her classroom with her face buried in her arms. She had her eyes closed as her hair draped loosely over her shoulders.
When she joined Karasuno High, her interest in club activities was basically non-existent and so, she was signed into mathematics club against her will.
Today, after giving up on the boring extra classes once again, (y/n) ended up skipping. The whole day was tiring and all she wished for was to go home and get some rest.
The classroom was quiet enough for her relax and enjoy her alone time. Until the door was opened widely, making a pretty loud noise and someone stepped inside.
"I thought you went home already" She heard a deeper voice as the other person walked over to her desk.
A sigh of annoyance left her lips as her 'me time' was interrupted and she raised her head up, eyes half-opened. Her gaze met the dark blue eyes of her friend.
"I can't leave yet, y'know..." (y/n) muttered out with a small grimace on her lips.
"I wouldn't be surprised if you still did" Kageyama sighed as he pulled a chair from the desk in front of her own. He sat down and leaned on his forearms.
"Oh, shut it" She rolled her eyes, arms stretching out as she leaned back in her chair. Her uniform jacket slowly slipped off of it and fell to the ground, which she didn't pay much attention to. "What do you want from me?"
"You see, Shimizu-san will be graduating next year and... we are kinda in need of a manager. So I thought-"
"You thought wrong. I ain't getting into volleyball again" (y/n) yawned before crossing her leg over the other and crossing her arms over her chest.
"Look, you know how to play and we need someone who has some knowledge. Can't you at least give it a try?" He asked with a frown, clearly a little unhappy by her response, even if he saw it coming.
"No" She shook her head, her (e/c) narrowing and her lips pressing into a thin line. "I don't want to"
"Why not?" Black haired boy pushed it, visibly set on his goal to have her take the position.
"I told you why" She whined in annoyance as she got up from her seat and grabbed her school bag.
Kageyama was silent for a moment, not giving up too quickly as kept watching her. He contemplated his options and thought about something that would make her agree.
(Y/n) walked towards the door of the classroom, ready to leave as she tried to blink the tiredness away. But then, he spoke again making her froze in place.
"You wouldn't have to attend math club. And you'd just sit and watch us play. Sounds better, doesn't it?" He asked with a smirk, turned around to face her. And his friend was just silent. (H/c) haired girl stood still, thinking about his words before she finally spoke.
"...I'll consider it" She muttered, rolling her eyes once again before leaving the classroom.
