-𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐍 𝐇𝐎𝐌𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐔𝐍𝐔𝐒𝐔𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐄𝐓-

With nobody disturbing her as she sat on the bus stop, nobody to text while she drove home and nobody to ask about homework barely an hour later.

Since elementary school, she walked home with Tobio almost every day. Even when she moved houses in middle school, they still found a way to go back together.

Today it was her own fault, as she lied about going out with a few of her classmates instead of truthfully telling him she was with Shimizu.

But, she wanted to show up as the volleyball team manager with a bang the next day. Be a surprise to everyone there. They probably wouldn't care all that much. Not that she knew them anyway.

(Y/n) sat on the bus, slowly getting closer to her stop. At this point she was alone on the bus as she lived in the middle of nowhere.

She fidgeted with her phone, mostly turning it around in her hands, arms wrapped around her school bag which she kept on her lap. It was more stuffed than normally, since the new uniform was inside.

Her thoughts were still all over the place as she stared outside the window, watching the trees and some buildings pass by.

The bus took a turn and slowly drove slower, getting ready to stop as the bus stop appeared in the distance.

(Y/n) stood up, checking if she took all of her belongings before she got off the bus and walked all the way to her house.

It was pretty modern, painted in light gray and white with black roof. Some people may say it was beautiful, some may be jealous of it, but (h/c) haired girl never exactly liked the house.

It wasn't homely at all, all white and minimalistic, empty as if nobody lived there. The garden seemed a little more lively, but still not enough for her to actually like it.

The people living inside didn't make her like the building any more.

She opened the gate, her hand rummaging through her bag as she walked towards the house. Soon, she found her set of keys and unlocked the front door.

"Hakaku?" A female voice called out from the kitchen, footsteps following the sound of her voice before a (h/c) haired woman appeared in the hallway. "Oh, it's just you"
