If he was that pretty too, I would covet all pieces of his leadings and clues, that he was losing feelings, getting tired and desiring to leave me be blue—

And if I were you I would take it seriously, when he says he finds other girls more pretty and alive in hue, Yet Why is my focus shifted to your stageyour name—

If there was no one between us to blame, if you needed love you should've turned to me—

Don't you dare gaze back at me, just to leave all your symphonieswrapped around my feet-- we're neck deep in indefinite tragedy, ever askingly.

We were good as Bonnie and Clyde, yet in weakness and in tongue-tie, we were there for a fortnight, you can't say there was nothing right about leaving the kites in the sky.

Leaving me in chemistry, no open window in destiny, Cause I gave you all my sunshine, I took all your Cimmerian Shades— Calignosities sharp as blades, where there was no turning the ship back to where we used to lay—

I would doubt he would want me now anyway, when I'm close to being a person pictured in the newspaper in our city, getting drunk on its pity— now overgrown in vines of your Cimmerian shades.
