Galina

She runs, she runs until she loses her breath. Her face is red, her legs are numb, her lungs are burning and her heart is racing. Behind her, a shadow, an oppressive shadow, as gloomy as the atmosphere that surrounds her at this moment. She seems to see a face there, but in vain. Even as she turns around, this shadow, which has a male form, seems to catch her. He strangles her, she suffocates. Her eyes close from the lack of oxygen and...
As Galina opened her eyes she saw the rays of the sun streaming through the thin curtains of her room. There was a knock on his door.

"Come in!" she says
It was then that her housekeeper, Cecilia, entered. She considered this woman her second mother.
"I have come to prepare you, Madam. The royal guard is returning today and your parents want you to be ready to welcome them."
"Of course, it must have been three months since they left. I hope the losses were minimal"

While waiting for Cecilia to prepare her clothes, Galina went out onto her balcony while eating her breakfast. Her room was at the top of the palace and had a magnificent view of the ocean. She loved to sit on the railing and admire the reflections of the sunrise on the clear water. From time to time, fishing boats distract her. This atmosphere calmed her enormously.

"Madam! Hurry up or you'll be late and you know your mother hates that." She heard Cecilia scream.
"I'm coming!"She replied.

The outfit assigned to her for the event was magnificent.  It consisted of a strappy crop top that covered her chest woven in gold thread. What attracted the most attention was the long puffy skirt, also gold and covered with small white and blue jewels. Everything highlighted her beautiful skin tanned by the sun. The numerous golden jewels that adorned her body also had the effect of making her even more majestic than she already was. Her light makeup enhanced the fine features of her face harmonious which found itself framed by her long curly hair pulled up in a deconstructed but still elegant chinion.

Once ready, the princess went downstairs and joined her parents and her little brother in the reception room to go and welcome the conquering troops.

"Hello, father, mother." She says.
"Hello dear. You are beautiful." Said the emperor while admiring his daughter with an affectionate look.
"You look radiant." Added her mother with a smile.
"You forgot me a little too easily." Declared his little brother Prince Jules, aged 11.
"How could anyone forget you when you're making all this noise."
"Calm down kids we have to go." Their mother told them in a calm tone.

The imperial family therefore set off to meet the warrior troops as well as their people. The immense doors of the palace open while giving way to the view of the main square of the capital Strelitzia. In front of her, she saw regiments of soldiers arriving.

The first division led the troops while further behind were the wounded. General Félix Surac stood at the head of the platoon followed closely by his two colonels, Maël Aliveron and Ménandros Castellevé.

"Tonight there will be a party in the main square of our wonderful city to celebrate our valiant soldiers!" Emperor Raymond Strelitzia spoke.
