Over the weekend, as well as the weeks that followed, Audra was suckered into being part of an Elemental Ninja Team, where she did her best to learn all Audra could about being a ninja and many myths that she had read from the library. She started to form ties with the teachers as well as become good friends with Nya, Cole, Kai, Jay, Zane, and Lloyd.
Audra thinks of the two masters of the academy were pretty interesting to say to the least. Master Wu has given her unique tasks that'll help her with her ninja skills and socializing with the other ninjas more often. While Master Garmadon helped Audra connect herself with Wind Element and with nature itself outside of the academy. Misako learned that Audra was a strong reader and a clever writer just as well, but she was feeling homesick. Due to that, Misako let Audra help her with the ancient writings and history that she had picked up in her travels.
But today was an especially unique day, many of the Ninjas were out on two separate missions; Cole, Kai, and Zane have a mission at the Cloud Kingdom and Lloyd, Jay, and Nya have a mission at the Merlopia Kingdom too. While Master Wu and Master Garmadon are both on a secret mission together. Audra had volunteered to stay behind in case anything unusual happened. Misako, Sky, and Pix had decided to stay behind with Audra to keep her company while Pix is keeping a lookout for everyone in the secret underground communication room.
Around dinner hours, the trio sat at a table, munching on the food they had made. Audra was quiet as she ate her bowl of noodles. Misako sat next to her, watching her as she ate her salad. Sitting next to her was Sky, who was enjoying her soup. But the two younger girls soon jumped in place when they suddenly heard a ringing sound from Misako's phone.
"Girls, I need you to come down here." Pix's voice filled the phone's speaker. "It's an emergency."
After the call, the trio went towards the underground elevator. They were each taken down to the secret, underground base where Pix could be seen working on the main computer. Audra exchanged a swift, but confused and curious glance with both Sky and Misako as the elevator came to a stop.
Audra'd been in places like this before — tunnels inside pyramids, tombs her dad had excavated — but Audra've never liked them. Millions of tons of rock above her seemed to crush the air out of her lungs. But thanks to Misako's hand, she managed to bring her back to the present day and the incoming situation as they each walked towards their friend.
"Pix," Sky spoke up to the trio's robotic friend, who was typing on the computer. "What's wrong?"
"An unknown person had sent a message to us," reported Pix. "Here it is."
"I feel like I've seen those symbols before, but I don't remember when," admitted Misako.
As Audra looked up at the message on the screen thoughtfully, strange and yet familiar figures zoom across the screen. She assumed that these are letters in a familiarly ancient, but forgotten alphabet. The curves and angles fascinated her, and she can't help, but stared at the familiar figures as they fly across the screen.
But as Audra concentrated at the familiar symbols, her eyes widened when she suddenly spotted the symbol of a giant "S." She soon remembers where she had seen that symbol before. It reflects on the Serpentine Tribes in general. The mysterious message came from one of the members of the Serpentine Tribes.
"I recognize the language." At that, Audra opened her father's leather journal notebook (kind of like Indiana Jones's notebook) and found notes of the Serpentine Tribes' alphabet. She soon made some space from the Serpentine Tribes' alphabet and started to translating the Serpentine Tribes' alphabet to the English language.
"Okay, I managed to translate the language." Audra's voice startled the others by her swift thinking. "And from what I can tell, this message translates to, 'Come at nightfall friends. Go to where the water hides. We have to meet tonight'." At first, Audra was uncertain about the new situation in front of her. She was new to the Ninja Team, but she was confused about the rules and protocols of it.
"Looks like I'm going to this fellow," remarked Audra.
Sky placed a hand on Audra's shoulder. "I'll come with you."
Audra smiled at Sky, feeling better that her friend will be coming with her. "Thanks Sky."
"We'll contact the others Audra," said Pix.
"We'll let you two know if we have any news," Misako added.

When the moon slowly rose in the place of honor on the darkening blue backdrop, the stars around it had deviated drastically into the night. The city's energy had calmed down into the peaceful evening.
But inside of the hidden room of the museum, a pair of outlined figures could be seen as they both jumping out of the air vent and jumped gracefully down into the secret room. The duo are both dressed as a pair of feminine ninjas. One is silver as the full moon while the other one is amber as the rising sun.
The Silver Ninja was none other than Audra Valiente while the Amber Ninja was none other than Sky Chen.
"Let's find that secret entrance," said Audra softly to Sky.
The two girls started searching through the room, but Audra took notice of Sky's tension towards the priceless artifacts and pottery. Audra soon realized that these artifacts and pottery were probably connected to Sky's crime-making father. Audra continued searching when she suddenly heard the faint sound of dripping water. She soon found a hidden, drainage pipe behind a picture of a giant black snake.
"Sky! Over here." Audra led Sky to a drainage pipe sticking out of the wall. She waited for Sky to join her side, wanting to make sure they both make it, then entered the tunnel, side-by-side.
Audra could barely see so she placed her hand along the side of the tunnel to steady herself as she walked. Sky did the same and a strange silence filled the narrow tunnel, only broken up by the steady dripping of water from an unseen leak and the slosh of the duo's boots on the wet concrete. Every few feet, they had to swat spiderwebs out of their faces or wipe away the drips of water that fall from the top of the drainage pipe.
But Audra's ears perked up when she heard someone coming towards them. But this mystery person doesn't sound like a human. It sounded like a human height snake.
"Ninjas?" Audra exchanged a glance with Sky, the two of them both pulled down their masks from their faces. "Is that you?"
"Hold on." At that, Sky took out a flashlight and lit up to see that they are both meeting with the new Serpentine King, King Skales, for the first time. He has a large navy blue cobra-like head with a large hood with yellow spirals. He had distinctive yellow markings on the top of his head that also covered his torso and tail, decorated by white and black. His very distinctive feature is the big red eyes with dark red pupils.
"Who are you two?" King Skales asked them, wary and confused.
"Greetings King Skales." Sky bowed to him, and Audra copied her friend's motion. "I'm afraid we're the only Ninjas who stayed behind in the Monastery." Sky soon gestured to Audra, who watched him with wary curiosity. "This is Audra, the Silver Ninja. The Master of Wind."
"It's nice to meet Audra," said King Skales. "But where are the other Ninjas? It's very urgent."
Audra gave him a worried look. "I'm afraid you just missed them. They were called by the two Kingdoms." Audra soon gained a foreboding feeling as she looked at King Skales nervously. "Something about monsters attacking the kingdoms?"
"Oh my..." King Skales hissed, clearly worried and concerned. "I was afraid of that. They must be trying to split up the Ninja Team, but they didn't take you nor Sky into a count."
"King Skales," implored Audra. "Please tell us what's wrong."
King Skales nodded to her, recognizing her bold determination and startling empathy. "An old prophecy is coming towards Ninjago."
"A prophecy?" Sky echoed, while Audra's eyes widened with shock.
"Indeed," confirmed King Skales with a nod. "But I'm not too sure about the details of it. It has been lost to for centuries." He soon pulled out a red ribboned scroll and gave it to Audra. "The scroll holds the ancient map of the Shadow Island. It also has lines of the prophecy that we were able to translate, but some of it has been lost."
"Thank you for your help." Audra smiled at him gratefully and carefully placed the given scroll into her bag.
"Be careful Ninjas," said King Skales. "There's no telling what could happen."
By that warning, the two Ninjas contacted Pix after they both gotten outside of the museum and let her send in their two respective motorcycles. One was the color of the full moon and the other is the color of the rising sun. The two of them soon rode out of the city and back towards the Monastery.
